Just three batters for Hendriks, who threw 12 pitches. Starting out with a walk, he followed it up by getting the next batter to line out to left. On the third batter he faced with a full count, Hendriks was charged with a pitch clock violation. Fastball was 93-94 mph.

Mickey Gasper is one of the nicest guys I’ve had the chance to interact with over my time covering the Sea Dogs the last couple years. High character guy that from all accounts is deserving of the opportunity. That was a very impressive at-bat, especially given the circumstances.
