Of note: FSU appears to be the only university in Florida that hasn't rolled out a program for distributing CARES Act funding to students. UF, USF, UCF, FAMU, UNF, FIU have all announced programs. They have $14.7m for students, but no action. I feel for their students in need.

I'm surprised no one on Jacksonville City Council has introduced a bill making the projection of light messages on the side of a building without the owner's permission a misdemeanor. A 2020 Harvard Law Review article argued it may already be civil trespassing and nuisance.

@ZoAndBehold This will fail. It is a separation of powers issue under Article III, Section 1 of the Montana Constitution. The Legislature gets to set their own rules and discipline their members under Article V, Section 10. Standard language of most state constitutions.

@NikkiFried This is false. If someone is ineligible currently, they are ineligible under the new law. Nothing changes. If LEO stop someone with a gun and they are not legally allowed to carry one, they face the same criminal penalties as before. The card doesn't make a difference.

F.S. 526.304(1)(b) makes it unlawful for a retailer (nonrefiner) to sell fuel below cost "where the effect is to injure competition." However, if it is done "in good faith" it is not unlawful (2)(b). This is to avoid a chain selling fuel below cost to force a small biz to close.

The redesign of the JTB west bound exit to Town Center is a cluster and dangerous. Cars at a complete stop on JTB because of poorly timed lights. Someone at @MyFDOT_NEFL @MyFDOT needs to resolve this issue before there is a major accident.

A lesson I've learned from @AGGancarski that I use in my writing for Forbes: If I read an article in another outlet and it prompts me to write a column, I always cite the outlet by name and link to the original article. "As originally noted in..." Give credit where it is due.
