SOLO is aging so well. For me, it is the best Star Wars movie since 1983, and the closest thing to a pure George Lucas movie since he sold Lucasfilm. I love everything about this movie and it is a shame it was not set up to succeed. #MakeSolo2Happen FOREVER. Bring back Alden!

Palpatine took a Skywalker’s name away from them once they chose the dark, and a Palpatine brought the Skywalker name back after they chose the light. I personally like “Rey Skywalker” and I understand plenty do not, but this is a pretty nice parallel, to me anyway. #StarWars

#TROSspoilers When we first meet Rey, a scavenger dreaming for bigger things, she puts on an old X-wing helmet and even has an X-wing fighter doll. She ends up flying Luke Skywalker's X-wing and wearing his helmet to go save the galaxy from Palpatine. Love it. Dream big kids.

#StarWars #TheRiseofSkywalker will end its run at around $1.075 billion, 14th all-time domestic, 31st all-time globally. The only ST film not marketed with the return of original actors, marketed on the backs of the new generation. Love or hate it, it is a very successful film.

George Lucas always called John Williams’ music the “lifeblood” of #StarWars and it is true. @KinerMusic did a TREMENDOUS job in #Ahsoka and I think classical scores serve the franchise best, makes it feel much more cinematic. I hope this continues to be the “rule”.

George Lucas was not a fan of planning out his movies. The prequels were a matter of circumstance because they had to be. Vader was not Luke's father in 'Star Wars', 'Empire' was written from the lens of a love triangle, and Leia was not Luke's sister until first draft of 'Jedi'.

Carrie Fisher passed away three years ago today, and thanks to JJ Abrams and Lucasfilm we were able to see her one more time as Leia, to which she had an incredible arc that I still can't believe they pulled off. I'll forever be grateful they were able to give that to us.
