@dococt_ Y’all really expect every female rapper to sound like Nicki or “ratchet rap”. It was an old school-type rap verse that told a story, and her deadpan delivery is part of the story and atmosphere.

@clubclemoy @itgirlposts I believe Noah reached out to her after she said she thought his co-star was hot on Twitter. He basically baited her. I don’t think she took their interactions seriously. And he put the private messages out there to make the world think he was besties with Doja.

@shaTIRED The conversation of colorism, sexism, entertainment industry success, etc. is more complex than a couple of tweets. While the “why this person isn’t as successful as that person” tweets are basic and tired and often demeaning to every party they’re comparing.

@repshours “Comeback” is usually an attempt to regain popularity after a more struggling era. Or it’s putting out music after you haven’t in a very long time. Most of these definitely don’t qualify in either category. But people like to use words and terms as they wish.

@PiscesGroove__ @DojaNews I don’t think she legit hates it. It being so pop-leaning and having a few “basic” songs probably made her feel like a sellout. But she had to keep the momentum going from “Say So”. I personally think it’s overall her best so far, but her next is bound to be her best.

@BriMalandro Attention is one of her 10 best songs, and her label didn’t even want to send it to radio. So, the focus is clearly on commercial, radio, TikTok appeal when it comes to singles. I’m just waiting for the album, because most of her best songs are not her biggest/most pushed.

@dojaschart Y’all are lame. If you’re not gonna listen then don’t listen. You don’t have to keep posting about “not listening”. And leave the people who are still here for Doja’s music and this era alone.

@NbaSyrue You stan Cardi b and Taylor. Let’s not with the “generic” claims. And this is from someone who likes a lot of Taylor and some of Cardi’s music. If a six year old can make Doja’s music then a foul mouthed 3 year old could make Cardi’s. Keep the same energy.

@GetIntoltYa “Need To Know” took weeks to peak. But I’m impressed that “Attention” is holding people’s attention considering it’s a dark, laidback song that’s over 4 minutes.

@TerlTerrance @KimberlyNFoster It's easy to trash her because of her antics, putting out a few bad songs these last couple years, her never being full hip-hop. But no one was sounding like Azealia lyrically or sonically when she came out. She's influenced a lot of artists and has a good amount of raw talent.
