I have video proof that O’Fallon was only granted 2 more downs after their 1st & 10 play at the Edwardsville 17-yard line on their final possession. Final play was short of the first down marker but it should’ve been 4th down after instead of turnover on downs. OTHS lost 43-36.

FINAL Kearney 68 (12-2) Hillsboro 28 (12-2) Bulldogs dominate their way to their to be Missouri Class 4 state champions. It’s the 5th time ever they’re state champions. Hillsboro falls short in their first ever state championship appearance. Fantastic year by both teams.

Two all-staters with over 30 touchdowns rushing/receiving & have started all four years. Best duo in Missouri & maybe beyond dare I say. MICDS will be very tough to beat whoever they play going forward in the playoffs. Won’t find a better mix of talent/experience in the state.

Hearing from sources MSHSAA has changed their ruling, which will allow virtual learning schools to participate in sports. That also means superintendents will ultimately be responsible to decide if their school districts will play. Waiting for the official word soon.

BREAKING: Multiple sources confirmed to me that Ladue head football coach Mike Tarpey informed his players today he is retiring from coaching the team. Tarpey spent 15 years at Ladue finishing with a 133-46 record and is the only coach to lead the Rams to a state title in 2018.

For me, Dylan Hair of Blair Oaks is the best quarterback in Missouri & all-time record holder in total yards. Right behind him is AJ Raines (Timberland). Last year I thought it was Patrick Heitert (CBC) and the year before in 2020, Cael Welker (Jackson). I’m open to debating.
