U.S. Marine veteran (1988-1994, Gulf War, East Africa), retired partner of Big 4 accounting firm, 2024 Tesla M3 LRAWD owner & FSD supervisor (v12.5.4 on Ai4)
Here’s post with more detail on vehicle accident I experienced last week in my Tesla.
I’m feeling much better. It’s been nearly a week since a 4-ton hotel room on wheels called a GM Cadillac Escalade ran a red light going 40 mph and slammed into me. I want to thank all of you

They ought to be spending 123% of their time focused on Boeing right now. The fact that they are more focused on SpaceX is telling...
FSD today from the US Customs checkpoint at the Arizona/California border all the way to Huntington Beach, CA (225 miles). Zero takeovers, zero interventions.
Best part of today’s FSD drive other than zero human input? I rode for 3.5 hours in the drivers seat of my Tesla
As a Marine, my platoon was once tasked with rescuing some U.S. college students who were trapped in a foreign country that experienced a coup attempt. They were there on a school trip. We were successful, and everyone was lifted out safe and sound. When we landed back on safer
Three months in with my first Tesla, and I’ve never been this happy about a car in my life. Never looking back! And to say that it turns heads here in the deep, deep, deep ICE country of east Texas would be an understatement. Changing minds one Whataburger drive through at a time
As a fellow American, I respect Ross’ right to flip flop on his statements of objective truths that he made just a few years ago.
As a Tesla owner and investor, I still respect his right. You need alternative voices to challenge your own.
But as a Marine, this made me puke. If

3 years ago, you said Elon was “the amazing innovator of our time”, but now you refuse to honor his employment contract? For 6 years of work that made many of your clients wealthy? 🧐
Do you honor your commitments or do you back out once the work is done and you have your money?

My Lord, what a future oriented leader! Instead of closing your country off to competition, opening it up. It helps the citizens of your country get better product and pricing, and helps your industry get better since they have to battle the best competition.
Jim Farley speaking on Fox 2 Detroit regarding the future of EVs
“Tesla has become the most valuable auto company in the world, that’s ever been seen. And they’re profitable, and they’re growing. Our customers love their EVs.”
So the CEO of a major rival company has the guts to
I’m a Marine veteran who now works in corporate America. That’s means that 1/2 of my Facebook friends who are fellow Marines hate my car choice, because it’s an EV. And the other 1/2 who are in corporate America hate my car choice because they hate Elon.
I just drove 22 hours
Hey everyone, just wanted to send a quick post while I had the chance, and had reception in the EMT ambulance (don’t worry, I’m good). I was in a vehicle accident a few hours ago, an older lady in a Cadillac Escalade ran a stop light and T-boned me. Fortunately the air bags in my

I can personally confirm that they are likely already there. I was T-boned in the middle of an intersection by a lady in a Cadillac Escalade who ran a red light. She hit me going about 40mph. My Tesla's ADAS system and the airbags saved my life. Let me tell you this: when all

It would be the death nail to the Delaware economy and fiscal budget as we know it, and go down in history as one of the biggest “self owns” ever. Even if she awarded it, it would obviously suck, but Tesla could absorb and move on. Delaware on the other hand….
Tesla FSD (Supervised) v12.3.3 — Porter, TX to downtown Houston in the morning mist. FSD took me from my house and parked me in front of my office building 30 miles later with zero takeovers, zero interventions, zero honks, and zero anxiety.
This picture right here means sooo much to me! This right here all by itself is worth the 200 mile drive to Austin.

What they don't know is that it is Marines and veterans who are starting to buy Teslas, and we don't scare easily. And I could lose all of my value in my Tesla stock, I lived in a tent for six years as a Marine, I can do it again 🤣🤣🤣
Just watched this series tonight, great interview with Kimbal. And this specific part of the interview just floored me. I wasn’t in the Tesla community back in 2018, so had no idea about any of this. This really is an amazing community!!! So happy I am here now!
Just saw that Tesla has recently put out several job postings recruiting skilled electricians for their Super charger build outs. Depending on the skill and experience, up to $300k.
1. There were A LOT of postings. They must be getting ready to really blow the doors off

Today at my baby cousin’s funeral, they played the music from my Tesla FSD video that I made for them a few days ago. I didn’t know they were going to do it. It overtook me when it started playing, and I broke the fuck down, like hard….

Met a woman today in east Louisiana while airing up my tires to drive the 350 miles back home to Houston. She’s keeping her 15 year old Toyota Corolla together with bubble gum and baling wire, and unfortunately her radiator was giving her fits. I went over to help her out. While
I am still taking it in right now. Such an amazing experience to get to spend nearly an hour with the CT Foundation. Definitely watch the full video, but I put together a quick 6 minute video collage of some of my favorite moments today. Mainly for some of my family and friends

The FAAs approach to SpaceX is starting to get dangerously close to undermining the technological advancement and defense of this country, with their obvious harassment of the aforementioned company. There is a formal term for this under international law, and it ain't good...
I uploaded this video to the other platform, but was informed today that X upload speeds have gotten better for longer videos recently, so will try to do upload same video here directly. CT walkthrough video in Porter, TX.

I just got approved by Uber to start doing ride-shares with my new Tesla. I am in a location of the country that has less than 1% EV adoption, so quite possibly will be the first ever ride in a Tesla or any EV for most of my future passengers. I'm actually very excited about

I take delivery of a brand new Model 3 LR AWD this Friday at 11am! I’m so excited to own this new M3 refresh. And just saw the news about new Ai4 vehicles getting latest FSD. I was able to do an FSD transfer from dearly departed Model S, so should have latest FSD version as soon

Tesla FSD (Supervised) v12.3.6 got me home safely from downtown Houston to Porter, TX tonight (30 miles/1 hour), through a heavy thunderstorm with tornados that rolled in suddenly while on the highway. There was a little drizzle when I left downtown, but nothing to indicate what

Today Tesla FSD (Supervised) v12.5.4 drove me 617 miles from Porter, Texas to Amarillo, Texas. The only manual driving that was needed was parking at some of the Tesla Superchargers, which happened to be mostly at large truck stops, with the chargers way in the back.
Tesla FSD (Supervised) v12.3.3 — from home in Porter, TX to Whataburger in Kingwood, then to Wal Mart, then back home. No disengagements, no interventions, no anxiety, and with Autopark literally no manual use of my Tesla at all as it parked itself all three times/stops!

Wow! The company that is going to save two American astronauts after the Boeing debacle, but you don't care about that. Hating on Elon is more important to you....
Just found out one of my old Marine buddies committed suicide today. I’ve lost more of my friends to suicide now after the war than we lost on the battlefield in Iraq.
I love my Tesla community, almost a family now. I love how we argue on Spaces with each other. But remember
Just completed my first drives on Tesla FSD (Supervised) v12.5.2.1 this morning. It was FANTASTIC!!!!! I took it to multiple places this morning and filmed all of it. The OGs were telling the God’s honest truth, 12.5 is like the leap from v11 to v12!
I will start working on

FSD tonight from downtown Houston to Porter, TX (30 miles) in a rainstorm for the entire drive. Zero takeovers, zero interventions. And saved me from what likely would have been a crash towards the last minute of the video. Tesla FSD is definitely a “rider on the storm”…
Three months ago I finally bought my first EV, a Tesla MS Plaid with black paint, cream interior, 21 inch wheels, yoke steering wheel, and FSD. Just looked on the Tesla website and the exact same car is now $19k less. However, I did notice one difference. I have 3 years of free

First FSD V12 drive (12.3) this morning. I made several videos this morning at 1x speed with commentary that I’m also going to upload here to X. Zero takeovers and zero interventions in over an hour of driving. But the real story is how dramatically different of an experience V12
I didn’t join the Tesla/X community until June of this year when I finally bought my first Tesla. I have been SO impressed with how quickly and completely y’all have invited me in. This is NOT normal. You are special!
It was Omar’s FSD videos that I came across that initially
I've had V12.3 since Sunday morning. Five days of driving over 200 miles. Zero disengagements and only one intervention thus far (and only one honk - thus the one intervention). I know we still have a ways to go towards the ultimate goal of robotaxi, but man, my confidence in
Tesla FSD (Supervised) v12.3.6 — running errands in New Caney, Texas this evening — zero disengagement and zero interventions

As a fellow Marine who chewed the same dirt as you JD, my suggestion is you just stick to the issues that are affecting everyday Americans. Y'all can duke this specific matter out on the debate stage if you want, but this is not a winning strategy IMHO. Just another Marine's
I made a special FSD video for the family of my best friend when I was in the Marines. I made it just for them. My friend’s wife called me tonight crying. I miss him too…
She gave me permission to share with y’all. She knows how much I love my Tesla now. She knows he’s with me
I live in rural East Texas, just about 40 miles northeast of Houston. I am not one (as most of you already know), but I live in about as deep red Trump country as it gets (the folks around me think Dan Crenshaw is a liberal, and that he’s secretly dating AOC 🤣). Just about every
