After seeing the video posted by
@UAWeapons
of a 🇷🇺 Lancet hitting a 5N63S radar, I figured that this deserved some more attention.
Hard to answer the decoy question on the spot, but this is definitely a 🇷🇺 5N63S radar struck by a 🇷🇺 Lancet loitering drone.
A short 🧵
1/
To sum it all up:
- 5N63S radar and both TEL's are 🇷🇺
- all systems were already present in Sep 22, well before 🇺🇦 took the area back
- no visible damage on Sat imagery
- 5N63S radar lacks some parts and looks somewhat different, that could indicate it is a decoy.
/8
Around that time, the whole Kherson area was already abandoned by 🇷🇺, allowing for 🇺🇦 to reclaim their lands.
So when was this radar system present?
The picture below is from 03 Nov 22, SIX days before 🇷🇺 left. Clearly this was 🇷🇺 radar! Note both TEL's marked in red.

@UAWeapons
@Geoconfirmed
at 57.284883, 28.418336 (Veretye Air base, Pskov Oblast 🇷🇺). 3 x KA-52 could be counted in the video. Vegetation matches the current season, concrete surface, certain trees in the background and a berm complete the proof.
Thx to
@ShimazuOSINT
for the initial work.
But even if we go way back in time to as early as 02 Sep 22, this system is already present 🤔
Let's be honest, a S-300 radar with 2 launchers that doesn't move for 2 months. Very very odd indeed.
All 3 systems could have been struck by 🇺🇦, but there are no signs of that.
5/
What else is there to learn from the attack video?
Well it misses both generators and the tall antenna behind the driver compartment. That could have been recovered after it was struck, but it is almost impossible to prove.
6/
What else?
On the radar piece, there is no door visible on the side, however as depicted in the red square, a door is present were it is not to be expected.
7/
The location of the system is
@GeoConfirmed
at 47.02903, 33.2402, which is in the Kherson Oblast.
The video came online on Nov 16th, if we assume that the attack was recent and consider the nice weather during the attack, 14/15 Nov seems the most probable days.

Let's all post something from the heart to the cunts that voted against the EU resolution that russia is a state that supports terror and genocide.
Share and repeat, those accounts should be flooded with anger and the pain they seek.

Some proof about the 2 🇷🇺ships being targeted by 🇺🇦. With high confidence we see a Grogorovich class frigate as the first target. According to
@CovertShores
(9 May 22) only the Admiral Makarov matches this class for the Black Sea fleet.

Since the whole internet was wondering where the Admiral Makarov was, a short 🧵
In short: Both ADM Makarov and Essen are in the picture. Date of picture: between 29/10 afternoon and 30/10 evening.
There is some room for error, only what is visible was investigated.

Despite the lack of any successes in nearly two months of continuous assaults, 🇷🇺 command does not abandon its intentions and continues to send people to die near Avdiivka.
If only they could refuse or surrender...
@COUPSURE
Some proof about the 2 🇷🇺ships being targeted by 🇺🇦. With high confidence we see a Project 266M / Natya Class as the second target. According to 🇷🇺 MOD information, the minesweeper Ivan Golubets received "minor" damage.

Great new picture below from the 🇷🇺 5N63S radar.
I can't see any damage to it, so likely this picture was taken before the Lancet bumped into it.
By the looks it's not a decoy, but rather a damaged one used in a decoy context.
Thanks 🇺🇦

@christogrozev
And in the age of disinformation threads like this are even more important! Russia has every interest in a divided Europe, fooling even policy makers from time to time. Keep up the good work!
So long story short, both Admiral Makarov and Essen are in the picture and indistinguishable from each other. Any possible damage is on the opposite side.
Looking at more imagery from after the USV attacks, much more can and will be told by
@geoconfirmed
. Stay tuned! 😉

An interesting radar signature caught with Sentinel-1 in todays images at (45.34947, 32.50320), Mayak, Crimea (09/05/2023).
Usually the C-band interference does not come in X-shape. It is also notable that there is no long range interference like in your average AA radars.
Proof for ship no 1: Admiral Grigorovich class.
Yes, no damage can be seen, since the attack happened starboard (and we only see port). Additionally the explosive charge the USV was carrying could not have been much heavier than 50kg, which is not that much.
3/
The time was derived from different imagery sources. This area has a lot of movement near the landing area and ships shuffle locations and positions regularly.
Extra inspiration came from imagery found at
@COUPSURE
and
@romanov_92
2/
Proof for ship no 3: Project 1135M - Krivak class, also a frigate.
If we look at the imagery there should be a 2nd one more in the back, but I honestly can't see it, let alone prove it.

The follow-up questions are, where the hell is the Admiral Makarov now and in what condition? The Moskva was "doing just fine" according to the ever reliable Russian MOD. Not.
Proof for ship no 4: Admiral Grigorovich class
Since this was the main question I tried to answer, I marked the first one of this class in the same way for easier comparison.
There is no way to tell the difference between the Makarov and the Essen.

Proof for ships no 5&6: Project 22160
Patrol ships. Of the 6 that were ordered, only 4 are already in service in the BSF. Ship no 6 in the back of the picture appears to have a TOR missile system mounted.

found some proof of damage. Looks as the Lancet had some sort of ricochet on the edge. Well spotted!

That was with quality in mind. Russian mindset dictates that quantity can become quality when they attack like a horde of zombies. Stalingrad was a nice example of a human meat wall running into bullets, which eventually led to a victory they still celebrate.

The thing is, how to deal with vultures that feed on this conflict for their own profit and self esteem. It's frustrating at best, but mostly an insult to the people fighting for their country.

Always the same with him, big ego long time overdue still hunting for likes and relevance. Chewing on facts and shitting infographics that only serve himself and not Ukraine nor the truth. So cheap.

It can't be Excalibur. The target is moving, and it doesn't have the characteristics of a BONUS round. But when you look frame by frame something seems to come in from the top. With a moving target my best guess is a Javelin.

Geolocated at 46.77548, 33.37683 on the NE side of the lock against the S corner of the building. Bricks and intents match, together with the bush. Lanterns have same shape and are at that place (they are placed symmetrical).

Looks midship yes. Drawings of this class are available online, so planning perhaps focused on it. But still, remote controlling it 100+ kilometers and perfectly hitting it is a true piece of art!
@TrentTelenko
Those improvements have little effect, the majority of the structure is still concrete with not enough thickness to withstand .50 cal or RPG. Fragmentation towards the inside will mess people up instantly.

Cut short since the boat exploded on impact/proximity seems the most logical explanation.
And the thermal was used during just before daylight. Very impressive they were able to navigate into the right area to find the Makarov.
Last night (17Nov22) explosions were heard and seen at the railway junction in Ilovaisk (Donetsk Oblast).
It seems that all 4 railway bridges received HIMARS rockets. Reliably taking these bridges out suggests at least 20 GMLRS were used.

Actually the 🇷🇺shoot plenty of artillery over Donetsk and especially the random hits in Donetsk more often have been Russian misfires caused by human error or old/wet charges. The angle of impact never lies and when it comes from the East it wasn't an Ukrainian shell...

Actually it's Iran returning. Russia supports Iran for a long time now. Same with Syria. Nothing would be left from Assad if it wasn't for the Russian involvement and waste of human life.

No idea how the 🇷🇺 targeting process works, but they hit a museum (or graveyard) with old aircraft while selling it as a devastating blow : 1 or 2 Albatros training aircraft and a bunch of MiG-21's.

Lovely to see.
Not to be rude, but in some areas dogs, cats and pigs have free meat from the dead 🇷🇺 that were left behind. It seems that a LOT of them are left behind... but if you don't respect them alive, you definitely don't respect their corpses.
