The Cowboys have lost 2 games by one score or less this year… those losses have been by a combined 5 points…
In those games, Greg Zuerlein has missed 11 pts worth of kicks.
It’s time to have the kicker conversation
The most disruptive defensive player in the league has now gone the equivalent of 9 full games without drawing a holding call…
This is the most egregious story in the league and it’s not close
Micah Parsons is seconds away from going 36 quarters without drawing a holding call (H/T

).
This is one play from the first quarter against the Dolphins.
Great photo from AP Photo/Rebecca Blackwell.
I think I figured out the best way to describe the diff b/w Zeke & Tony…
If a play is blocked to get 2 yards, Tony will get 2, Zeke will get 5…
If a play is blocked to get 15, Zeke will get 15, Tony will get 30.
Both are super important abilities
The Cowboys have a top 5ish QB in the league, the best WR group in the NFL, 3 OL who are top 5 (if not THE best) at their position, and exciting young TE, and the best RB in the league...
That O is gonna be 🔥🔥🔥
How to sabotage the NFL team you own:
1) Fail to capitalize on rookie QB contract bc “we’ll have to pay him in a few yrs”
2) Delay signing him to try to “win” the deal, & wind up paying him $15M/year more bc of it
3) Cut your best players bc “our QB takes up a lot of our cap”
Reporter question to Kellen: “a Bill Belichick defense has earned the reputation of making opponents play left handed..”
Kellen “I’m a lefty, I’m Ok”

WHY AREN'T THE COWBOYS SPENDING MONEY ON PLAYERS???!!!!
Why are they one of the lowest cash spending teams in the league despite being the most valuable??
It's time to put our tin foil hats on and go for a ride through the world of the N. Texas ultra wealthy
BIG TIme THREAD ME
People really put here saying Cooper Rush should be the starter on a day he completed 10 out of 16 for 102 yards and the only TD the offense scored was a 57 yard run???
If they won a game like this when Dak started people would be calling him a bum who gets carried by his team.
This man has been the single best resource than any fan base of any NFL team could have.
He worked tirelessly, and selflessly to keep Cowboy fans educated and entertained year round.
We owe him a massive debt of gratitude.
Thank you BB, for being simply the best.
As of today I am no longer an employee of the Dallas Cowboys. I want to thank the Jones Family for an incredible opportunity. They put me on the world stage and I’ll always be grateful. I am looking forward with anticipation to my next challenge here very soon.
The Dallas Cowboys make their case for the worst run organization in Texas, by letting Amari/Byron/Quinn/Cobb etc all hit FA...
Bill OBrien: Hold My Beer...
They are gonna go from having Amari for $22M on the cap this year, to having Schultz, Gallup, and no Cooper for $25M, and they’re gonna try to convince you that’s better.
The Packers were $24M over the “cap” this morning and tagged a WR for >$20M and are reportedly close to signing their QB for $50M a year…
Miss me with the cap hell comments forever
Zeke does this, doesn’t get touched for 16 yards, 2 ppl tackle him, and ppl will read stats and say “he’s one of the worst backs in the league at yards after contact per play”
I mean, watch this crap… DAL has a perfect play call vs man coverage on 3rd and short, he jumps CeeDee’s route right at the mesh point, takes away that throw, then somehow makes the sack too… this is stupid…
Fred Warners' sack at the start of the 2nd quarter might be the best play i've ever seen a LB single handedly make. Blew up the pass concept and then closed to sack the scrambling QB.
I’ve been saying it for 10 years. If a team wants to read option you. Put your face mask through the QBs chest every single time…
They’ll stop calling it.
If you’re coming after JG after this one you are missing every bit of the point.
He managed like a man who knew he had to match aggression w/ his opponent to win. Going for it Early on 4th & 1 set an aggressive tone etc.
But the offense couldn’t keep up.
Time for a new OC
Dak Prescott completed +10.7% of his passes over expected in Week 4, his 7th game with a CPOE over +10% in a game over the last two seasons.
No other quarterback has more than 5 games with a CPOE over +10% since 2022; only two have more than 3.

CeeDee Lamb has had a greater positive impact on the Cowboys through 4 weeks, than any of the players they could have potentially selected at 17 overall.
Any suggestion otherwise is
#bad
Maybe we should start reminding everyone that Dak Prescott likely would have signed a long term contract shortly after the 2018 season for something around $28-30m a year.
$35M per year for 4 years = $140m total value... add $45M to the total value, that’s $185M.... $185/5 years... $37M per year...
Read the article. Let Fish drop the truth
I might be the only one, but I don’t really care where DAL seeds in the playoffs as long as they get in.
Bc if this team plays at its peak level they can house any team in the NFC in any stadium, and if they don’t they can get beaten by the Jets.
So the seeding doesn’t matter.
WR who played with Dak for 3 years, along with Tony Romo, Josh Allen & Tom Brady: “Dak is the best leader I have ever been around in the NFL period”
Former eagle on TV: 🥴
.
@CutOnDime25
: Trevon Diggs trash-talking Dak shows they don't respect him. 👀
"I played with Michael Vick, played with Tom Brady, played with Josh Allen, played with Patrick Mahomes, nobody on the team would even fix they lips to say something like that to the quarterback."
This story isn't being told much outside of my guy
@fishsports
, but this is amazing from one of the best guys on the Cowboys...
This little boy was given weeks to live...
So CIN had OL trouble, and they signed Alex Capps and La’el Collins… what an interesting approach… you know taking weaknesses and addressing them directly.
There is a legitimate chance that this ball could have wound up in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Dez decided a young boy's joy, and making memories for that family were more valuable than his legacy in Canton or at the Star.
Well done

Some of y’all spent the last 12 months waiting for the last 24 hours so you could say you were “right” about some flaw with this QB, HC, OC, etc.
And you missed 13 wins worth of joy and excitement as a result, and sorry but I’m not here to tweet you through it.
In Mike Nolan’s 21 years as a HC or DC in the NFL, his teams have finished in the top 10 in takeaways 10 times...
His last stint as a DC was in ATL from 2012-2014, the falcons intercepted 46 passes in those 3 years, with a low of 10...
The last time DAL had >10 INTs was 2014.
Byron Jones has allowed 14 catches on 27 targets for 182 yards and 1 TD through 7 games in 2019.
Compared to 2018, he’s on pace for a:
Lower completion %
Lower Yds/attempt
Fewer yards
& Fewer TDs
In other words... he is better than he was in 2018....
He is a BAD MAN
This is the perfect illustration, the offense is gonna run through 4 19 21 & 13.... but a stable of Pollard Cobb Jarwin and Dez as complementary pieces could help finish drives and games they failed to in 2019
Byron Jones is an elite corner who plays on defense where no one has intercepted the ball very often for 5 years.
And yet people don’t want to pay him bc he doesn’t get interceptions...
The issue is bigger than Byron
If Dak hit the FA market, he would be the best young QB to hit FA since atleast Brees...
If you don’t think he’d break $200M on a contract in FA you’re either dumb or blind and I’m not sure which is worse.
On the Malik play, three starters/key contributors, CeeDee, Biadasz, and Pollard were all blocking 30+ yards down field in a game they’re winning 49-7 at the end of the 3Q…
That’s a team
Dallas Cowboys receiving touchdown all-time leaders:
- Dez Bryant, 73
- Jason Witten, 72
- Bob Hayes, 71
- Michael Irvin, 65
- Tony Hill, 51
Sunday could be Jason Witten's last chance to tie/surpass Dez Bryant for the Cowboys all-time receiving touchdowns record. Does he get it?
In re: to Dak…
He is unequivocally VERY good and has proven for years under multiple OCs that over the course of a full year even if circumstances are not ideal, he can produce results at levels consistent with the absolute freaks at the QB spot in the league
But…
Dez Bryant went ride or die for Dak Prescott in 2016 when it would have been easy not to., and the team fell in line...
18 months later, Dak repays him by, pushing him out the door.
Want a list of young guys on the Cowboys whose play in 2022 should leave you encouraged for the future?
Here you go:
Tyler Smith
Daron Bland
Chauncey Golston
Izzy Mukuamu
Damone Clark
Sam Williams
It feels like this Amari move is the one that is making a lot of ppl realize just how dumb the cap conversation is.
The Cowboys are actively choosing to make their team significantly worse over a few million $$s
Most-watched NFL games in Week 1:
- Cowboys/Giants, 23.9M
- Bears/Packers, 22.2M
- Patriots/Steelers, 22.2M
Cowboys/Giants beat both of NBC's games of the week, both of which were night primetime contests. The Sunday afternoon slot with Dallas in it is pure gold.
The most frustrating part about today to me, is that they had Darian Thompson and Terrence Steele on super short leashes...
Which means they knew those guys needed to be replaced.... but they ran them out there as starters anyway
If DAL is a half serious organization Bobby Slowik will be the HC in 2024…
How many times do you have to get your butt kicked by a coaching tree before you decide you want some in your building?
Carson Wentz is dang good man. He is running for his life most of the time & throwing the balls to folks no one knows. Still, this cat is ultra talented. Wonder what it would be like if he got to play with the Eagles Nick Foles always got.
The Rams tried to trade for Khalil Mack the day after they made Aaron Donald the highest paid defender in NFL history and y'all are out here believing in the salary cap.
