Just turned 50 and recently played in usga fourball qualifier alongside some fine mid-ams in their 20s & 30s. Really makes me curious as to why @USGA “senior” golf begins at 55. True there are some that still can compete, but 45 - 54 is no mans land for Amateur golf.
