FNATIC always innovating - and I love it!
Having Edgar (Perf. Coach) in the coaches chair with Elma (HC) it allows for many benefits to gain an edge!
- HC can focus on team tactics, game plan and strategy
- Perf. Coach can focus on energy levels, mental, emotional regulation
This is actually a thing. If your goal is optimal performance weapon skins with extra audio and over the top visual animations may actually increase cognitive load leading to
- decreased focus & concentration
- mental fatigue
- extra eye strain
- slower reaction time
But they
New skins are pretty fire but my brain gets cooked whenever I use it from the overdose of animations and sounds. Need an option to be able to turn off skins client side so I don’t get nerfed in the middle of a game picking it up
The most POWERFUL skill as a competitive gamer is FOCUS
The ability to channel you mental, physical & emotional energy on the task at hand, eliminate distractions, and stay in your optimal performance zone

IMO orgs need to support their players, not roast them publicly for engagement or impressions.
One of the most important things players need to battle through adversity and stay mentally resilient is SUPPORT!
