There are many positive reasons to consider the JUCO route. Unless you are an “off the charts” academic JUCO should be a part of your next level discussions. Many 4 year schools will hunt JUCO players.

OPENING DAY @d1baseball I've been fortunate 2have experienced opening days from little league 2the big leagues. I can tell you each has come w/anticipation, excitement, adrenaline & butterflies. Opening day is that wish as a player I could experience all over again PLAY BALL!

Asked what I did 2make the big leagues after 8 1/2 years in minors since I wasn’t blessed w/ HOF talent. I thought of 5 things *Outworked many *Played fundamentally sound *Made minimal mental errors *Never took a pitch off whether an AB or on D *Showed up everyday & COMPETED

Not a single former/current pro-player on the @TerpsBaseball Leadoff Banquet panel was a ranked or rated in HS. They were a group of kids back then provided w/ an opportunity. Each one built to take down the weak and prove all doubters wrong.

Knowing you’re playing in ur last game is bittersweet. Not knowing u just played ur last game is devastating. It’s heartbreaking 4those who had their passion 2play stolen by this virus Playing baseball may be over but the brotherhood u built thru the game will last ur lifetime
