This is absolutely embarrassing...
Hockey, esp youth hockey, has no place for this. GROW UP.
I am not against making a living from the game of hockey BUT this is so unnacceptable. Get out of our game.
NHL Referee Tim Peel was cleared to start reffing again !!!! Absolutely amazing how fast he’s come back from that nasty injury where
@JonathanToews
fell on him and snapped his ankle a few short months ago ! One week away 🙏🙌🏻💪🏻
Coaching @ a midget tourney in Chicago & I walk into my team’s assigned locker room 2 see this.THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. Respect locker rooms just like you respect your coaches, lteammates,refs etc. NO ONE is 2 good to clean up after themselves.Coaches keep your players accountable
Weights don’t push back !!!
As the season gets closer, I like to add drills like this in to our training sessions as much as I can.
Feeling pressure - rolling off of a guy - protecting & shielding - core strength - leg strength - etc etc etc
Give this a whirl 👊🏻
This guy is getting roasted enough so all I will add to this is : You only live once. College will ALWAYS be there. The opportunity to play junior hockey which COULD lead to playing D1, D3, Club or D2 Club Hockey is GONE FOREVER once you age out. Don’t look back & wonder what if
There's something very wrong when 21-year-olds are regularly incoming freshmen playing Division 2 college hockey.
Throwing away three years of your life to play Division 2?
If you run a AAA Hockey program and claim you’re all about development but your players are in the gym once a week or less …
You don’t care about development.
The power of visualization cannot be understated.
If you suffer from pre game nerves, this will help. If you want to play “faster” on the ice (make quicker decisions), this will help. If you don’t want to be a drill kill in practice, this will help.
Start doing this YESTERDAY
The first truly elite, non-pro client I worked with was
@MapleLeafs
Joseph Woll
I’ve worked with him every offseason since he was 15 years old
ALWAYS early
ALWAYS doing extra
ALWAYS asking questions
ALWAYS searching for new ways to level up
Success is not an accident !!
One of the most important factors influencing a hockey players stride is their ANKLE MOBILITY !
Check out this simple way to work on this DAILY - my guys use it as part of their warm up BEFORE they get on the ice &/or in the gym before they lift !!!
Yesterday the
@AAABlues
had a Celeb Golf Outing raising 💰for our club on a 100 degree day-
@patmaroon
came & played 9 holes despite having a flight, skate & workout the very same night. Are you kidding me?! Patty is 1 of the best humans in the game-The
@NHL
needs more like him
Every hockey season around this time I get messages and calls from players struggling …
If you, a teammate or someone you know is hitting a rough patch - read this text I sent to one of my guys today going through it right now.
It will help 👊🏻

Shift your focus from the END RESULT to just winning today. Your attention to the “little” details every single day will make or break your career - that goes for sports, business, life … everything.
EVERY YOUTH HOCKEY PLAYER READ THIS !!! Comparing yourself to anyone let alone a first rounder from your town is UNNECESSARY!!! Everyone peaks at different times! Focus on getting yourself better every single day no matter what 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻

DISCLAIMER - if you don’t like cuss words, don’t watch this.
Every single day in my gym.
Every single set.
Every single rep.
Everything NEEDS to start with INTENTION
You should be saying these exact same types of things to yourself every time your training to get better
• Flexibility is passive
• Mobility is being able to control all different positions and ranges of motion
• You need to train your adductors
• You need to load your mobility
• That takes work !!
If your organization/team wants to add value to your players careers, dm me 🤘🏻
Just win the day.
Teaching your players this small idea will make a very big impact.
Everyone asks, how do you build confidence ?
My answer - Preparation
Preparation comes from winning the day.
Hope this helps someone 👊🏻
Text convo I had with one of my junior hockey players today
Warning : there are cuss words 😇
Players NEED to hear these things.
Players NEED to learn that to "fail" or to get cut DOES NOT mean the dream is dead - success is not a linear path !!
Hope this helps someone
Sitting in a
@usahockey
coaching clinic today and the instructor just said, “know your role as a coach in Long Term Athlete Develoment.” Most important thing I’ve heard all morning!! Younger coaches, your role isn’t to win !!! It’s to teach kids to walk before they run!! LTAD🙌🏻💪🏻
In a gym this am, saw a man in in his 60’s w an Army shirt on. I asked if he served & then thanked him for his service-The smile that came across his face lit up the room! He put his life on the line by enlisting-it takes 3 seconds 2 shake a veterans hand but will make their day
To all the kids playing games this weekend : Recently I keep hearing people say - “but only a few kids will even play juniors or college hockey.”
Don’t let someone tell you that you CAN’T do something - EFF that noise, if YOU want something, WORK FOR IT. Prove people wrong
Married my best friend last night & had the night of our lives celebrating with our closest family & friends …
And yes, I got that d floor going reallll quick ❤️🇺🇸
SIMPLE contact prep, spatial awareness, battle drill for hockey players in the gym. I use this towards the end of all of my guys’ offseason after a summer of no contact/minimal contact skates. Also gets the boys competing going into training camp-Try it, your players will love it
Any hockey teams out there that run into Covid stoppages & have to stay away from the rink & gym for 2 weeks-if you want workouts for your team to complete while staying @ home - DM ME !
Ive already sent three teams home programs for free to help the kids out. Seriously just ask
Our u18
@AAABlues
Goalie Jakub Dobes scored a goal today !!!!!!!!! This is unreal 💪🏻
—you know what’s weird? Dobey has focused on stretching, breathing, and do short workouts at home every night before bed for the last three months —>
Confidence Is Earned ‼️‼️
Integrating the whole body …
This is sneaky hard & can be done on using any cable stack …
PS : if you like the custom racks I had built for this location, I’ll be making them available for purchase SOON
🇺🇸
Phone hasn’t stopped since that last tweet ….
Lots of former AAA Blues players reaching out asking what they can do to help and wondering what are things that will make our kids stay in town to develop at home.
Here are a few ideas I had, would love others to add to this ⬇️
True agility does not come from set patterns !!!!! Start incorporating drills where you have to REACT to an external cue (visual, auditory) - Hockey is the fastest game on earth and to be truly agile you have to be able to read and react in an instant ! Try this on for size
Definition of an animal ? Having this happen last night in a game and texting me this morning joking around about it! No concussion, thank god!
@Michael_woll93
is a SAVAGE 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Get better soon 🥩
TO ALL OF MY CANADIAN HOCKEY FRIENDS : PLEASE WATCH & SHARE
I can help you !!! Whether your season is paused, in the air or finished for sure, I have different training phases that can be completed all from home !!! I had pro hockey players in 14 countries use this training …
Amateur hockey parents :
If an advisor approaches you and wants to charge you $3,000 UPFRONT paid in full for their “advising” services …
Odds are, that guy is a loser
If there only “value” is getting you a junior tryout - they are adding no value.
Scum of the earth
Months ago I started waking up at 5 am again.
When I played, I found confidence in doing things others wouldn’t.
Starting your day while your competition is sleeping builds self confidence. SUSTAINABLE success is a lot less sexy than people portray➡️Murder your Thursday mofos
I was just told that there are 16
( yes 16 !!!! )
@AAABlues
players from 14-16year olds that are leaving STL to play elsewhere next season …
Not to move on to juniors …
To play at the exact same level
Sad to hear for St. Louis hockey
Hope we get this figured out
Reckless words that put family in danger …
Kind of like the disgusting vile things you said about the unvaccinated people of this country during Covid that you were completely wrong about ?
You’re a pawn and absolute scum
Dear Aasshole: for the record, I’ve not met, flown with, visited, or had any contact whatsoever with Epstein, nor will you find my name on any “list” other than the clearly-phony nonsense that soft-brained wackos like yourself can’t seem to distinguish from reality. Your reckless
🏒 PRO TIP 🏒
————————
You want 3 SIMPLE things to work on that I GUARANTEE will make you a better hockey player that takes little to no effort (just a lot of focus)
1️⃣ Talking On The Ice
2️⃣ Stick Pressure
3️⃣ Shoulder Checking and Use of Peripheral Vision ALL OVER THE ICE !!!
This is why playing professional hockey is so much fun in Europe !! Fans are PASSIONATE. Players and fans have a lot more interaction both on the ice and off of it. Sports are entertainment !!!
If games are boring ➡️ No fans ➡️ No fans = No money ➡️ No money = No more pro sports
Vid I just posted to ig 30 mins ago …
There is not one single exercise everyone absolutely NEEDS to do
Every exercise has a time & place but on the whole, single leg training trains you more efficiently & effectively for life & sports better than bilateral training ever will
Because of what happened almost immediately after signing my first NHL contract with Bruins, I will always feel like I played my entire pro career with ny hands tied behind my back … I’ve accepted it BUT it’s also what fuels me EVERY SINGLE DAY to help my guys be better 🙏Dobey
The most fun I’ve had in a very long time …
I rarely put my gear on anymore because of my 14 concussions - I can’t take that risk & miss time in the gym with all of my clients …
Just a reminder, soak up every minute you play.
Every. Single. Minute.
Yesterday was day one for my youngest group of hockey players.
These kids are going to be animals by August 👀
If you can’t train with me in person, train with me online for a fraction of the price.
Always here to help 👊🏻
If you’re a AAA or Central States program & you aren’t making your players lift two-three times per week IN SEASON …
DON’T TELL ME YOUR PROGRAM DEVELOPS PLAYERS - THIS IS A MAJOR PART OF DEVELOPMENT
End of story
There are cost effective options
FIND A WAY
I hope every organization in youth hockey is FORCING their coaches (maybe even parents) to take a short online course like the one I just took. Playing through a knee, ankle wrist has far different long term implications than playing while concussed.
Please share if you agree
Yesterday 2
@StLouisBlues
players were on the ice before our u18 practice. They asked to stay on & skate w our boys. It was 30 mins of their day to make a LIFETIME MEMORY for our guys! THIS is what hockey is about‼️30 minutes created LIFETIME FANS. Thank you guys 🙌🏻🙌🏻🔥🔥💯
When an 8 year old asks for his birthday party to be a workout at your gym, you’ve gotta be doing something right …
Make exercising fun again
Honored ❤️👊🏻

Are you training your EYES ???
Everyone talks about the importance of “vision” on the ice but how many times have you worked on your eyes during your training ?
Try this simple Peripheral Vision drill.
If you, your team or your whole org wants to work with me online, dm me !
I know so many retired hockey players that need hip surgery when they hit their late 40s, 50s or 60s. The hockey stride is not a natural movement like walking or running. Exercises Like this help performance in the short term but also with health and longevity in the long term !
Please read this - All I want is to help kids reach their goals. I can’t stand by and say our current system helps our city’s kids to the best of our abilities. I literally lose money coaching. It’s not for me...
This is nasty. Hockey coaches, this is a simple and FUN drill you can add to your warm up routine. Throw out the old school, stale, boring dynamic warm up you don’t day after day after day. In my experience at all levels, most players are completely disengaged during those
Perceptual-cognitive training should be programmed like any ofthe other skills commonly found in an ATHprogram. We believe there should be blend, where the focus isnt solely on the motor output,but also on the input. This plays an important role in developing thehuman mvt system.
I’ve been tagged in tweets to stand up to racism.
It’s 2020. If you are a racist, take yourself to the vet & ask to be put down.
Hatred is NOT innate.
Hatred is learned.
I don’t care what color you are or what country you’re from, we are all HUMANS. ACT LIKE IT !!!!

This man right here is
@hughtrain
!! The STL youth hockey world is lucky to have him working our kid’s games! Tonight alone he was needed multiple times during & after the U18 AAA state championship.All teams and leagues should try and have guys like this at their games!
Players, parents & coaches …
This will help.
Better food = Better energy = Better performance.
Watch, send to athletes that really want to get better, here’s one simple way !!!
From a junior hockey player I’ve never met, this is why I use Instagram daily
Love getting these & is a massive reason I respect guys like
@connorcarrick
so much for all that he’s doing to help the next generations of hockey players WHILE HE’S STILL PLAYING !!!!
MASSIVE CONGRATULATIONS to one of my clients on signing his FIRST
@NHL
DEAL !!!! Literally one of the best humans on the planet. The Maple Leafs could not have signed a better person or goalie!
@AAABlues
I am VERY EXCITED that I can now offer my clients(and anyone else in St. Louis that’s interested) the latest in VISION TRAINING with Synaptec !!!! Their program has PROVEN results time after time! I’m not being paid to say this, I firmly believe that vision training is next level
One of the biggest names in hockey will be recording our
@HockeyThinkTank
podcast with us tomorrow night.
He DM’d saying we need to talk about the tweet I put out last week that had my phone blowing up for four days.
Hint, he’s a hall of famer.
LFG
Yea men’s basketball makes way more money than women’s BUT this is college basketball & you (
@NCAA
passed Title 9 ) - which specifically rules against what’s happening
Don’t piss down my back & tell me it’s raining - they have plenty of space for equipment ! Own your mistake
I’ve always been a proponent of positive reinforcement. As a son, a player, a captain on almost every team I ever played on, now as a coach, a strength coach & as an entrepreneur. Year after year I have witnessed how much more people will give when things are framed positively!
During the hockey season when all of my clients are off playing, I started putting on mini clinics for other coaches, trainers, businesse, whoever
It’s been such a rewarding experience working with populations I don’t usually work with
Knowledge shouldn’t be kept secret

Weird
I hope aaa hockey teams everywhere start thinking about how we can figure out ways to keep our players at home longer
I hope parents realize, people selling you on your 7 yr old needing to leave home to play isn’t necessary
Hockey Parents…Pro tip:
If you want your kid to play in the NHL, playing hockey with them in your driveway or basement from 5-10 years old will pay infinitely more dividends then sending them away to a super team at 14.
Hockey Players : HOW you to talk to your coach matters. Choose your words wisely when looking for more playing time !!!! Here’s an example
From a live podcast on Sunday for the Give More, Be More podcast where tons of our listeners came out & participated 🤘🏻
Don’t tell me kids have changed.
We’ve changed how we hold them accountable.
44 kids all visualizing before warming up & then skating.
Let’s have a day
We are very proud to announce our off-ice training partnership with
@JeffLoVecchio
and RIPT Hockey!
Jeff has an impressive list of top end talent from the NHL, Minor Leagues, USHL, and beyond.
We are thrilled to have Jeff as part of the program!

As hockey off-seasons are starting up here’s a reminder
Train to be a better hockey player not just a better weight lifter
There’s a reason thousands of elite players from the NHL to entire NCAA D1 teams train w me online every offseason
Dm me with questions on how to start
Just signed up 326 new youth hockey players from age 10-18 to start training with me online starting
April 1 🤘🏻
Let me help you, your team or your whole organization train smarter & harder all offseason long.
Nothing better than helping players get closest to their dreams
They aren’t undocumented …
They are illegally in the country
No, they shouldn’t be given citizenship
No, they have no right to vote
No, they shouldn’t be given free shit that real, law abiding Americans aren’t given …
How about you take care of our f*cking veterans first
Two prominent Democrats — Schumer and Pelosi — are now on record pushing for immediate citizenship for the untold millions of illegals in the country.
Getting as many across the border as possible in order to convert them to votes was always the plan.
Now they’ve admitted it.
When a professional athlete in the biggest league in the world says after four weeks of our first full off-season training together …
“So many guys from the league are going to be moving to STL next off-season when they see what we do this year.”
Let’s. Go.

If there are any

St Louis high school hockey coaches
If you have AAA level players on your team WHO’s GOALS ARE TO PLAY JUNIOR HOCKEY AND BEYOND :
If you truly care about your players, their careers, and their health PLEASE stop making them come to your all your practices and all your games.
From a speech I gave to a group of young men / future leaders this last weekend …
Its easy to do what comes easy to you
There’s no growth in that
Seek out the uncomfortable
Hockey players : if you want to have better balance on the ice when you’re in battles …
You must incorporate unilateral lifts !
Being able to resist rotation & outside forces is massively important in ANY CONTACT sport.
Let me help you train smarter this off-season 💪🏻
