The past 2 weeks has been a much needed break for our field. Got it seeded with ryegrass, it’s been perfect weather for the seedlings. We will get it painted up next week for UCF game. Should look really good for Homecoming.

Everyone asking me why the Super Bowl field is so slick. It isn’t the Tahoma Bermuda grass making it slick, it’s the ungodly high rate of ryegrass overseed that’s causing the issues IMO. The Tahoma is just the base holding the ryegrass.

The collars around these greens were not in good condition. Today we started repair work by removing approximately 6’ of bad grass around each green and will replace it with Tahoma 31. Chambers Golf Construction is doing the work for us. #DornickHills

Most people don’t realize how important early morning direct sunlight is for grass growth. The north end of OUr field gets this direct light and it grows considerably faster than the south end.
