Any bros out there looking to hit the transfer portal... do one thing first. Look yourself in the mirror and ask if your body of work was fully exhausted where you're at. No reason to jump in if you were missing lifts, failing class, lazy at practice, etc. Pointless.

Turning down a chance to play at the D2 level is also turning down a chance to: - Get your school paid for - Get tons of playing time in over 40+ collegiate games - Build connections with people on the same mission Just because you may not go D1, doesn’t mean it’s a bad thing.

Having success in the transfer portal isn't just about who you know. It's about a coach out there knowing the value you'd bring to their program. Start thinking quality over quantity. You don't need 60 offers. You just need one coach who knows you can help his team win.

HS athletes, do this.. screen record the first 30 seconds of your tape and include it in your highlight post to Twitter. Automatically plays highlights w/out having to click a link n wait for it to load. Pin this post to profile too. Easy hack to get way more eyes on your tape.

If you wake up and you can: - Call/text your parents - Train as hard as possible - Count on a few boys that always have your back Then you should never complain. Don’t think so much about what you want you forget what you have.

If you’re in your 20s, don’t fall for what’s became so easily applauded these days: “That kid works hard, man!” “He balances school, work, training? That’s something else!” That’s the BASELINE. You should be pressing the issue daily when you’re young. Go get more.

Always have to ask yourself why it can’t be you that gets a shot. If you can play a little ball, do well in the classroom, and are willing to go shake some hands n meet coaches, something will turn up. It’s your life, just go make it happen even if nobody else believes in you.

People who are too afraid to take a major risk will talk you out of doing it too. Always thinking worst case scenario. Avoid these people. Just ask yourself if YOU would regret doing it or not. The > risk, the > reward.

Nothing sweeter than seeing compound interest of the work put in come to fruition Minimal gains to start The reason most never see the true results in the long run Years and years of developing your craft and nothing Then one day, it all presents itself.

Understand the snowball effect that can take place in recruiting if you stack up 1-2 offers. Won’t happen if you ignore schools off the bat tho. 1 of the BIGGEST mistakes you can make is not showing interest in schools interested in you. Could lead to many offers.
