We can’t stress this enough! Audiobooks are books. Implying that they “don’t count” as reading is an ableist attitude. Whatever format of reading you prefer is great, no matter if it’s ebooks, paperbacks, or audiobooks!

I just discovered that my free sapphic novelette "A Place to Call Home" has been getting a lot of 1-star reviews from homophobes because Amazon is promoting it to Christian readers. Sigh. Nora & Luke deserve better. #LGBTQ #sapphicbooks

Yay! It's done! I sent my manuscript off to my publisher last night. It ended up at 67,000 words--definitely NOT a novella. Now I'm waiting to hear what my editor thinks.

(1) Some days, it gets really exhausting. I've been up until 1 am last night, preparing a presentation for new sapphic fiction authors and next year's reading challenge, in which I promote hundreds of sapphic fiction authors. That's not the exhausting part, though.

Some readers think that reporting typos in a book to Amazon is helping authors. It's actually harming them. Please reach out to the author directly instead.

It is possible to read over typos and not complain about them. Or to tell the author directly if you feel you must say something. Or to leave a review saying the typos bothered you. Anything is better than reporting errors to Amazon. ANYTHING.
