As we turned west off 79 tonight, MrsK remarked that the time was right to see a lot of wildlife. We had no idea how right she would be. At least 100 elk on both sides of the highway between the east gate and the Game Lodge. Super fun to be so close to them. @CusterStatePark

We made a special point to make sure Flashman got the last pheasant of the day. Flash flushed him. I shot him. And with some help Flash rooted him out. He wanted to make sure everyone saw.

Somehow we got a Walmart off to college guide when MalibuClaire was only four. Night after night I “read” it while she listened and we talked about going to college. Lori kept it. We read it tonight. And tomorrow we go off to college.

On my way home and just passed the spot where many years ago my Uncle Todd stopped the car and I got out and shot three roosters with three shots and honestly I’ve gone past that spot 100s of times and always remember that.

Super proud of my crew at MayAdam tonight. One of them needed a big lift in life today and the entire group rallied to make it happen for her. Touching and heartwarming to see them pull together like that. I’ve often been proud of them and today I’m a bit more so than before.

The MayAdam family provided 299 burgers for Pierre’s Banquet at SE UMC. I had to test one to make sure it was good. Thanks to my partners, associates, summer interns, and daughters for taking this on. Hoping to make it an annual event for us.
