He is not saying physically beautiful. He used the word utsukushii (美しい) showing there is a deeper spiritual aspect. He does not use kirei (綺麗) which would just be physically attractive.
@jjba_cursed
The beauty he is talking about is the beauty of bravery in the face of certain death. The Jojo men have beautiful souls. Their outward appearance reflect their inner spirit. This has nothing to do with sexuality.
@theneedledrop
Fun fact: Elvis once visited the White House in 1970 to ask Nixon how he could help fight hippie free love drug culture. "I'm on your side," the King told the president.
@Shuttlecock
Okay and why was it the lowest-viewed Star Wars show on Disney+? You’re acting as though those factors aren’t at all related which is false.
@_rawrell
Who can blame them? They weren’t expecting this show to be nuanced in any way towards Christianity whatsoever. The show creator doesn’t even understand the irony of having a biblical reference next to an angel that was originally a human, which is impossible biblically speaking.
@DCBatman
Question:
If you can change the sexual orientation of a character on a whim, what is stopping writers from making LGBT+ characters straight? If the current lore isn’t respected, why should the current one be?
@BadWritingTakes
“It reads like a right-wing YouTuber's clumsy understanding of what a "diverse" show is.”
Nah that’s just how they usually are. The only reason that this is an exception is because the story is being told through bastardized version of a universally beloved IP.
@JeanGen09181213
This is something that modern X-Men fans don’t get with the social commentary for mutants not being a strict allegory for any particular group.
@maikebhudson
@MikeSington
There are tons of videos of people mocking Melania and treating her terribly. Can you provide at least one video of Michelle getting called racial slurs?
@Shuttlecock
That’s not the argument though. The argument is that Disney tried pushing a show with an open progressive agenda only for no one to watch it. Nobody is saying that Disney is now switching gears, they’re saying that it was so bad that Disney begrudgingly canceled it.
@thehill
It’s literally just a group who are descendants of people who fought in the Confederacy. They take part in re-enactments and conserve monuments. What exactly is the issue here?
This isn’t even really a joke, it’s just true. Adam would have been near impossible to refute during the hearing if the show didn't make him obviously unfit for Heaven just for the purpose of weakening the point of view he represents.
@wwarrior_1
@TheStrxggler
In the show he didn’t just die, he SACRIFICED HIMSELF to save her and and everyone else against some magic nuke casted by Skeletor.
@JillyBean0301
@nypost
Imagine writing your bedroom fetish into an existing character who has existed for decades and thinking that’s a good decision. A personality that is centered around your sexuality does not automatically make you super interesting or a better character.
@DRKToss
@CQuill97
You’re leaving out the context where Clark doesn’t reward her for putting herself in danger and makes her look stupid. It’s also wrong of her to do that when someone could actually be in danger and need Clark’s help.
@hayasaka_aryan
They also intimidate a pizza delivery girl into giving them more money for unfinished work and get the original taxi cab driver fired. And oh yeah, the dad murders the rich dad.
@GmanLives
They did take away Ada’s flirty personality, and that was pretty much her whole character in that game. Without it she’s pretty much a cardboard cutout. Ashley was great though.
@theneedledrop
“the best music consistently comes from the next generation of creatives looking to take risks and shake up the status quo aesthetically or socially.”
So in other words modern day right-wingers?
