Made it to the 2 year milestone🦾 of cancer free…next big milestone is a year from now. Then chances of returning drop drastically until I hit the 5 year mark which will pretty much be the all clear from here mark. Keep me in your prayers until then please 🙏

Day 111 Finished my last scheduled treatment in hospital yesterday! I got to “ring the bell” which is a cancer tradition! It was an unbelievable feeling and all my #nurses my Dr. And the hospital personnel from all aspects were amazing! Short term goal no fever next 10 days😎

Feb. 16th ‘22 found out I have acute myeloid leukemia. 6 months later to the date I found out there is no more signs of the cancer! Beat that cancer into submission and threw it out of the ring!!! #KeepOnKeepingOn #UpYoursCancer

Huge milestone today! 1 year ago I was sent in to the ER and given a choice of 2 hospitals. Being wheeled up to the floor where I would spend the next month and first chemotherapy treatments 3 days later. Tomorrow will be 6 months of remission!!! 🦾 #FUcancer #keeponkeepingon

Day 128 Made it home last night! It’s always the best feeling to get to hold my little girl and be home again! Next up I was sent home with a bunch of in home treatments for the leg wound. Recovering until July 20th when I go in for a bone marrow test.🙏❤️🦾 #WAGMI #GM

Day 12 Sleeping getting hard. Been very weak last few days. All in the norms though. Just in the middle of the worst part of the first half of treatment. Ready to carpe diem and all that jazz 😵. Spiritually and mentally still strong. My body might be down but not the rest.

Day 155 Honestly doing pretty darn good! Nausea is way down, I was able to get the pick in my arm (IV thingy) out today, and no more labs until I go back for the August 15th appointment where we find out if I’m 👍 or 👎 Getting stronger lil by lil everyday! Thanks for the ❤️🦾🙏

Day 10 today! Last night was rough got my first 🥵 fever. Plus side is I got moved to a room that is about 4x as big as the previous room. Moving super slow today and weak. Will do what I can! Spiritually and Mentally strong at the moment though! 🙏❤️💪🦾

Well not where I wanted to be on Labor Day Monday but, here I am back at the hospital (ER now). Last week I got some scary news after a follow up labs. My blood counts and especially my platelets have dropped a lot. Last Tuesday they were at 99 then Thursday 66. Couldn’t wait

Day 21! And I probably just got the best news yet! I get to go home tomorrow! About 6 days earlier than expected, the doctor said I’m a super star and my blood counts are looking great! I’m so stoked!!!!!

Day 109 and one more day left before going home. I start my last round of chemo tonight then one more tomorrow morning…and then I’m done. Recovery for 6 weeks then the test of all test to @see where I stand! All is well just fighting nausea as usual. 🙏🦾❤️

Day 97 and things are good. This recovery has been slower than last few. Not sure if due to week of fighting fever or just body getting tired 🤷‍♂️. 9 more days of rest and recovery then back to the hospital for what aims to be my last treatment. Hope everyone is well! ❤️🦾🙏

Day 79 and im not doing so good. High fever of almost 104. Back at the hospital. They are going to take out the thing in my chest (Hickman). For few days then put it back after blood cultures come back positive.

Day 19 Woot finally broke the fever in the wee hours of the morning. Sweated out about 80 gallons and lost some sleep but worth it! Looking forward to a solid day! Best thing my nurse is going to “take me outside” for awhile today so I can meet up with my 6 year old daughter!

Day 68 and back at the hospital for my 3rd round of treatment starting tonight. Great news from the Dr. This morning how I have two rare genes that are great at kicking Leukemia arse! Something like less than 7% of Leukemia patients have it and makes my odds of beating it high!

Day 42 Test results are reporting that I’m in full remission! I still have 3 more treatments to go though. Will do a week in hospital to receive chemo then 3 weeks at the house. With the first 2 weeks going to Dr.’s clinic every other day for blood and what not. Great news!🙏

Ok 3 month update! Would say I’m 90-95% back. I was able to do 15 pushups today 🦾 I finally took my last dose of anti-fungal meds. From the leg wound (mold infection) that happened during my last hospitalization. Here is updated pic of leg and myself #KeepOnKeepingOn 🙏🦾❤️

Day 15th which is hump day for my length of stay at hospital all 📉 from here. Yesterday was a good day way way better than 10-13 I went through another bone marrow test procedure not fun but not painful. Those results will update us in progress. Making some dent on puzzle!❤️🦾

As I am now. Then I got a special delivery from my work with a tremendous amounts of get well cards and a jumbo get well card from my personal venue…Biggest trouble I’m having is sleeping more than an hour at a time at night. Spirit is super strong and mental strength strong!
