All good things must come to an end.
My time with the CDL as an observer has come to a close.
I'll look back at these years and cherish all the memories and people I've met along the way.
HHL is life.
Really sad today’s the last day of Cold War.
I really like this game.
Lots of awesome moments both observing and playing this year.
Treyarch doesn’t miss.
This was our (The CDL Observer Team) reaction to the end of the
@DallasEmpire
vs
@TorontoUltra
Hardpoint!
This 100% Priceless!
We love Call of Duty & we are ready for
@CODLeague
Championship Sunday!
Thanks to
@toksgarage
for sending this clip!
I can’t think of another esport where amateurs would deny playing matches on stream….
Broadcasts = eyes on the product which in turn helps it grow.
Can’t believe some of the news from challengers.
Like, no one is stealing your breakoff on Moscow HP
2019 has been quite possibly the best year of my life.
2020 looks like it's going to be even better.
After quite a few months in the process, I have accepted a position as an observer for
@CODLeague
.
It's going to be an incredible season!
Had an idea a while ago on showing players/viewers how OT sides are determined in SnD and Control so I made a mock-up of it.
(I tried to cut as much out while maintaining what the game flow would look like)
Not perfect, but an idea nonetheless. Feedback appreciated.
@hitchariide
The clock rounds to the nearest tenth of a second.
So 0.050 would show 0.1
0.0499999999999 would show 0.0
There's still time, just a minuscule amount.
1 year ago I sat down to observe my first pro league match for CDL. To say I was nervous is a massive understatement. From college to LA, CCL to CDL the one thing that remains the same is the love for CoD.
Thankful and blessed to be in this position.
#CDL2021
Let's get it
What a stream. I literally don't know what else to say.
@CollegeCoD
has been a passion project of mine since almost June. And to see the stream reach 500 viewers, to see my friends grinding all for the same goal has me in tears, real tears of joy. So many things stood in our way
Just under three years ago, I took a leap of faith and joined the CDL and
@HotHandsLounge
.
Now I'm lucky enough to move into a new role as a full-time observer for Call of Duty.
Blessed to have another year with the squad and to put on the best show possible.
CoD is life.

While we are on the subject of CoD
Bring back preset classes in Comp.
1. Solves the GA crisis.
2. Clarity on what attachments people are running since we can’t see them in game.
3. Everyone at the top runs the same stuff anyway so let’s all use the same stuff.
Lots of cool things about this patch - I don't think I've seen anyone talk about this one yet
Being able to capture on the platform is a game-changer for attackers.
After 2 weeks of watching and playing copious amounts of Halo, I thought I'd try my hand at designing an observer HUD.
Not a designer, but had a lot of fun in the process.
Really loving having CoD every day of the week to watch/observe:
Monday -
@CollegeCoD
Tuesday -
@CollegeCoD
/ Challengers Elite
Wednesday - Challengers Elite
Thursday -> Sunday -
#CDL2021
what a time to be a fan of competitive CoD
CoD is life.
As 2021 concludes there’s been some good/cool things about this year:
- Graduated from college summa cum laude with a degree in Computer Science
- Observed my first CDL Playoffs on LAN
- Learned a few new programming languages
Onwards to 2022!
A little over a year ago I woke up to a DM from
@ParadoxQJ
with a link to an application for observing for the CDL.
At the time, I really didn't know if I had a shot and was hesitant to apply. After a bit of convincing from
@zSmgl
, I took the chance.
My 2023 CoD Community Wishlist
1. All TO's used the same CoDCaster settings. (I'll even put out a document with the correct settings)
2. TO's stopped covering the minimap in SnD. This is getting ridiculous. Everyone uses the same strats after week 2.
That is all. <3
@Maven
I'm going to remember that series for the rest of my life. History was made today.
You and
@JoeDeLuca
killed it.
Absolutely wild stuff this weekend.
Hey everyone, please help get
@zSmgl
to CWL Anaheim. For those of you that don't know, Marco is responsible for making the
@CollegeCoD
stream looks so good. He has done it all for FREE. If you feel like Marco has made an impact on you or the community:
Today is my 1 year anniversary of joining
@CollegeCoD
. Who knew that browsing Reddit during work would take me on an incredible adventure where I would meet some incredible people, go to incredible places, and help shape a community that I'm passionate about. To many more! 🥂
With MWIII launching on Thursday, hoping to get an MWIII Observer guide out by EOD Friday at the latest
and maybe its time to release another little project I've been working on...
Three years ago today,
#BlackOps4
brought us a new era of MP, an epic Zombies adventure, the launch of Blackout, and one of the wildest seasons in competitive COD history.
Thanks for the memories. 🧡
Feeling nostalgic this Thursday. Only a few years ago but some of the most fun I’ve had.
Lots of great people in that lobby too. Good times

This past weekend may very well have been the most interesting observing experience I've ever had.
Observed, gameplay directed, and ran an emergency show all in the matter of three days.
CoD is life. <3
I'm glad I took that chance. 21 years old and get to say I have a job I genuinely enjoy and am passionate about. So many crazy experiences from this year that I'll never forget. So many awesome people met.
The season may be over but at the end of the day...
CoD is life.
