I think y'all need to remember this - BTS chose to re-sign their contract. BTS all have degrees in media/entertainment, they have their own lawyers, parents who went over their contracts with them. They have all the leverage in the world to leave Hybe with NOTHING if they go.
We're protecting that paper award, because you know what paper is made off? Trees. And do you know where trees grow? Grass. And do you know what cows eat? Grass. And do you know what cows produce? Milk. And what is made out of milk? Yes, you're right. BUTTER. It's a sign.
Not to idolise him, because they're obviously just humans, but when I say I want a man like Namjoon, I'm not talking idol Namjoon. He's beautiful and hot, but many men are. The thing about him is, I've never met a guy who's as self-reflective and smart and defying gender norms
Us in 2018: Trust BTS
Us in 2019: Trust BTS
Us in 2020: TRUST BTS
Us in 2021: JUST TRUST BTS
Us in 2022: Hello we've been telling you to trust BTS!!!!
Them: I've been an Army since last year and I just don't understand how this always happens to him, free him from Hybe😪
@baepsaeaddict
if bts really paved the way for the whole kpop industry, then every kpop group would be able to perform on American shows and they would all be nominated for American award shows, and every kpop group would be on billboards, please search up the meaning of "paved the way"
BUT Namjoon is getting a whole new meaning here. BUT Namjoon is the only idol who openly talks about his past mistakes and holds himself accountable in public.
Interact with this if you are an OT7 Army who is capable of critical thinking, rationality and trusting BTS 100%, instead of trusting random accounts on twitter. Let's find each other, because it seems like more and more people here aren't here for BTS but to spread negativity.
The audacity to demand the boys to stop filming run and instead do... What? Go on variety shows they don't want to go on? What tf do you want? Run episodes are the highlight of lots of Armys week and they do it for us. If you have a problem with that, the door is open to leave.
There is this idea in kpop and also the Western industry, that in a "boyband" there always needs to be one most popular member™ and that in the end it's viewed as a necessary evil on the path of becoming a famous solo artist. BTS however puts teamwork first and it irritates ppl+
If you believe translators are "not that important" for our fandom, you probably are a) fairly new to the fandom, because not that long ago we didn't even have subs for Bangtan bs and b) don't care that much for what the boys actually say. Makes speaking over them easier I guess.
None of them need to be "freed" from the band or from the company. None of them need YOU to speak up for them, you're a fan, go worry about your own life, some intervention is obviously needed there.
Stop treating the boys as part of your own personal saviour complex fantasy!
I feel like stanning BTS leads to us having higher standards for men, but not just because of looks or style, but mostly because they are the opposite of the toxic masculinity stereotypes we see everywhere in our daily lives and it's time these men realise that they're out.
Guess who's been with them for 10 years and who hasn't, I'll give you a hint, it's not "jingosolo109" who joined twitter september 2021 and thinks a 29 year old man needs to be patronised by creepy fans
Actually bh's approach towards solo works is amazing. Instead of grabbing to make a huge amount of money with every member's solo songs, they leave them the individual room to grow and decide for themselves when it's right. Not as profitable but puts the music and artist first.
Four years ago I worked as an au pair and made the kids listen to Fake Love - they loved it. The year after I came back and showed them Bwl and BT21 videos. In 2020 the mum texted me that they're playing Dyna up and down. Today she texted me they're in Las Vegas. FCK THOSE KIDS!!
LESSON FOR (BABY) ARMYS No.1:
Do not trust "expose threads". When somebody tags you and tells you to unfollow, please do what you would (hopefully) do in real life, FACT CHECK. Get different opinions. Don't join a hate train, because you never know who's hiding behind it. 🙏🏼
And please start treating the boys like humans, don't freak out about everything they say and also don't act like everytime they say sth sad, you need to start a pity party and trend hashtags or whatever. Otherwise at one point they might stop sharing these thoughts with us.
The funniest thing about stan twt is that there are actually ppl believing that BTS members need to be freed from bh because hybe makes them do stuff they don't want. They NEED them to re-sign, they're probably treating them like kings because no way they can afford losing them.
I remember how many 'Armys' defended their right to trashtalk PTD and how I unfollowed ppl that week because they spread so much negativity about the song and look at PTD now. It brought them and us so much joy, the whole cinema was doing the dance, huge smiles on everyone's face
A lot of new Armys might be incoming after my universe release. Please guide them towards sensible OT7 accounts if they ask and normalise making "have you listened to x song or watched x content yet" instead of "who's your bias" as a first question.
Jm saying that it's no issue when other members join his live because Armys love all 7 of them... The way he is so absolutely sure of it, he really doesn't even entertain the idea of solos. And nothing for you jealous mfs.
Journalists be like: Bts are little puppets who don't speak English and their fans are all robots who mass buy music, their music is generic and and also I love every other kpop group, they're the best, saranghae Oppar😜
Armys:???!????!
Journalist: Armys are so mean to me😭😭😭
Seeing people say that over 20 is too old for stan twitter is just funny to me because these kids genuinely have no idea what's in store for them, like duuuude you'll be so disappointed when you turn 25 and there is no magical moment in which you suddenly got your sh*t together
"Fansite culture is normal in Korea"
Yeah so is paparazzi culture in the US, which most definitely doesn't mean it's morally right and doesn't harm the artists?!!!
I think it's time y'all understand there is a 0% chance of BTS being unhappy at Bh and being mistreated by them. Aside from the fact that they say they're happy, they a) own parts of it and b) have ALL the leverage and had it at time of re-signing. Bh needs them! Use your brains
Yes, I will defend their long-time staff that they've referred to as family before over a half-a$$ed assumption that user 12345JinGoSolo678 tweeted before their mum called them for dinner. Sue me
Ok, I will quickly adress a screenshot I've seen victimisers share and why exactly you should ALWAYS fact check and look at context instead of believing these kind fo tweets.
Solo stan twitter is a different level of delusional, I just saw yg solos kekeke with Jk solos about how "at least the song is with the only vocalist of bts" and "at least it's with yg and not Rm" and it got 200+ likes. I need these antis to stop speaking on them fr
There is a difference between being grateful for having access to free content and being genuinely unable to afford something - and being entitled about watching stuff illegally, because "capitalism sucks" and "it's a company". These are artists, who work hard. Always be mindful.
If you're an Army who just shuts tf up and enjoys the music and acts supportive without blaming people and spreading negativity, congratulations, you're approaching stanning with a healthy mindset
Am I supposed to downgrade and settle for someone else, knowing that someone like him exists? No. He ruined me for other men, but that's ok?! Because I'm fine swearing off men forever, actually that's a blessing
OK listen
I went to a pub quiz tonight and the boyfriend of a friend (who I never met before) asked me about my thesis, so I explained that I want to write about BTS - and he said, I kid you not "I heard about them, isn't their stuff really fundamental and deep?"
😳
If you're an Army who's simply excited for new music and genuinely listens to the boys and trusts them congratulations, you're the only fans that BTS has!!
As a consumer I feel like Adele should put out another album every year, I paid for her last album and I got an Adele t-shirt so I'm obviously entitled to criticizes that there is only 1 album every 5 years
This has to be said because certain kpop token stans don't seem to be able to grasp it, but just because BH doesn't promote their solo work doesn't mean the boys get "nothing". That's most likely even their choice. HYBE's losing out on a lot of money they could make in addition
Multis dni but Kim Taehyung created the phrase borahae and everyone creating new words with + 사랑해 is doing it because of his impact. So everytime the Tannies do this, they're not "copying" it from some idol, they're doing it because borahae is a huge part of them
My colleague asked me today if I'm a kpop fan because I listened to bts and I had to explain to her that I only like bts and she told me she doesn't like any kpop and her argument was basically "dark side of kpop"
Thank you, German media and German kpoppies, I mean it🤢🤢🤢
Armys: Sleeping, dead to the world*
Solos: "And if you look at this diagramm and this Powerpoint presentation I made, you will see that they didn't post at 3:54 am their time, which is how we conclude that they are a Jm anti"
Their followers: 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
The fact that a huge part of this fandom thinks having bt$ faces on the most extravagant objects/buildings possible is an achievement? Do you listen to them at all? When have they ever seemed like the kind of ppl who'd appreciate fans spending 100k+ $ on stuff like this???
Wahhhhh!!!! It’s so amazing!!! Thank you so much for doing this for our hobi!!! How amazing is this! I will take the long way to work to see this from now on. It’s located in Sinchon! 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺💜💜💜💜
Thank you

So Jm solos mostly ignored Friends and didn't stream Mots at all except for Filter and even told others to ignore it in favour of streaming his solos - and now suddenly it's going to be in a movie and they claim they supported it AND try to change the meaning of the song?? 🤣🤣
This is a targeted attack and it reminds me of when media and businesses in Germany got mad that Bubble Tea (from Asia) was so successful, so they started a smear campaign saying Boba is toxic and slowly all shops disappeared until this year when ppl realised it was bs...
None of your experiences will ever top the one time I met a kpop stan who lived in my dorm and she was wearing a t-shirt that said "I liked kpop before bts"
The tl always goes from "Joon is so soft, so sweet, gente giant, so smart" to "hunt his personal trainer down and lock him in a dungeon!!" every two hours
If you think fansites are unproblematic and "fine", because they "support" the boys (weird, no fansites for an entire year and they boys are still successful?!!!) then remember, that these are the cameras they use and they follow them everywhere they can. They're paid stalkers.
Solos: they're musicians, not entertainers
Also solos: they should be taking brand deals and play in a drama, also here is a brand ranking, a poll of who is the most handsome and who has the best nails and by the way, we only listen to like 5 songs out of their entire discography
I think we have to admit that some people here are biased and it has nothing to do with the members, bh or the fandom's treatment, but everything with your creepy little victim fantasy. You're making it seem like a freaking mistreatment competition?!! What's wrong with y'all.
Idk who needs to hear this but loving someone's music isn't the same as stanning them and y'all need to realise that. I love Marina and I love Adam Lambert but I'd never make a stan acct for them or spend $ on merchandise and watch videos of them playing tennis with a frying pan
I don't know who needs to see this but it IS possible to love more than one artist.
My playlist has anything from KPop to hard rock to metal to country to hip hop to rap, pop music, ...etc.
Loving more than 1 artist/band is not a betrayal to them, it just means you love music.
If kpop was so big in the West before bts then how come all of your faves only appeared on US talkshows only AFTER bts. How come they charted on bb200 only AFTER bts. How come any of them has yet to win an award at any of the Western music shows? Hot100 top 10? Stadium tour?
Basically, my brother just explained in a very simple way, the issue German media and
@bayern3
don't seem to understand. I would upload the entire audio of us talking but I am very dysphoric about my voice, so I'll transcribe it here quickly. Thread:
Fake love debuted at

in 2018 when the US and global fandom was maybe 10% as big as it is now. No website, no radio, nothing.
Just a reminder, we will figure this out.
The fact that he was (and still is) surrounded by so much toxic masculinity in the rap scene and in general, but he reflected so genuinely on it (like gender neutral lyrics and everything he's said about masculinity standards) and became the man he is, other men can pack it up
Nobody has ever made me feel so safe and included like BTS does. Especially Namjoon, I feel like coming out to him would be like getting hugged by the waves and the sun when you're swimming in the ocean. If you're not LGBTQ+ you can't understand how comforting their support is.
