So, I saw my surgeon today & asked for them to pull no punches. If they had taken my entire right brain, the cancer would still come back. I'm going to get maybe a week more of rest/recovery and then chemo will continue for the rest of my life. It's a lot to take in.

I am missing a lot of my words but they are hoping that they will come back in time. The initial cancer treatment says that they got everything in the first time. I will know for sure in a few weeks.

@wil_da_beast630 Some of them also spent decades suggesting that my strong desire to be a mother and devote my life to the nurturing of my progeny had something to do with male oppression. Pfft! Those people never met my grandmothers.

@sunshinepears I was raped when I was 19. I feel like "victim" was the right word for a long, long time. I use "survivor" now but it took a lot of healing to get there. We are both victims of a crime & survivors of trauma. I have zero issues with your desire to use "victim" to describe us.

@tedcruz Funny how you used to say that Trump was not responsible for any of the things going wrong with the economy during his administration and yet Biden is responsible for everything. You are a sitting senator. If things aren't going well, it's your fault too.
