I got a call yesterday. My brother had been in hospice for about a week. He passed away yesterday afternoon. He had rejected Christ his whole life, and died still rejecting Him. I knew his death was impending, and I've accepted it, but still hurts.

@AbbyJohnson I agree. A woman's right to a choice ended the moment she says "Yes." Granted that there are specific instances when a woman has no choice (rape and adult-on-child incest come to mind) but these instances are uncommon. BUT, abortion, no matter the cause, is still murder.

I don't know about everyone else, but as I watch the world spinning out of control, I feel less a part of what is going on each day. I have an inner peace that is so comforting, and this grows as things get worse. I know it is the comforting hand of God, and it is quite amazing.

@CandiceLeeWrite Remember that Paul had a "thorn in the flesh," which was apparently some sort of ophthalmia. He prayed that it be healed and God said "No" and that His grace was sufficient for him. There is a reason that we are not healed, and we may never know this side of glory.

@BiblicalBeauty My grandson has decided he's gay. My family welcomes him & his husband at all family gatherings. When I try to them of Christ, I'm told it's "the wrong time, wrong place," etc. by the rest of my family. They seem to think that by including them, they are showing Christ's love.
