Olivia Anderson, who remains adorable, ran the first race of her Track and Field career. She finished 4th in the 3200, and raised her arms as she crossed the finished line as if she had just won the 5,000 in the Olympics.

The biggest individual news for the night is that we have a NEW SCHOOL RECORD in the boy’s 3200. Andrew Boyum won the race in 10:13.78, which is a little over 3 seconds faster than the old record.

To watch Olivia Anderson run the 3200 is to watch a catalogue of every human emotion. Fear gives way to anxiety which gives way to agony which gives way to elation. Her races exhaust me, and I pretty much stay in the same spot the whole time.

Kendell Kapplinger PR'd, finished 2nd and had the 2nd best throw in school history in the shot put. Furthermore, by surpassing 36 feet (36'3) she has earned a pair of throwing shoes from her parents.

Here's an insider tip for y'all: keep your eye on this kid, Damien VanWesten. I think he's going to be pretty good in, well, anything that requires running fast. He won the 400 in a time of 52.47. The second place time was 55.54.
