@arturo182 I’ve been working on a kinetic sculpture. Each motor is individually controlled and the modules snap together to form a larger surface I can animate patterns on. Each module is powered by an RP2040 stamp 😉

Right now, I'm building a game with @synthesischool called Fire Ridge. Synthesis is an education-through-gaming platform started by my friend @chrismanfrank . The game is a realtime fire simulation, where kids learn to coordinate and problem solve under high pressure.

Fire Ridge has been fun to build and watch kids enjoy. Surprisingly, it's also been one of the more difficult things I've built. Simulating the fire requires about ~350k calculations/sec... per game. If you're interested in helping me scale it, I would love some help 🥺

Hacked the remote for my blinds to be triggered remotely by an ESP32, and made it pull power from the ESP instead of a coin cell. Buttons still work as normal. Gonna make an enclosure for it and program it to open automatically at sunrise.

I had the honor of making the final piece in the Mars Maiers collection. I wrote an SVG program to generate it 😎 Such a fun project, a constant throughout the year, though in the end @allanyu_ did way more work on it than me.

I added a new feature to my game: limited visibility. When enabled, students can only see a limited radius around their current location. The scout truck has highest visibility, but can't act on the fire directly. It forces students to communicate, one of the goals of the game.
