Cabinet has hiked Dearness Allowance (DA) to 50% of basic pay frm the existing rate of 46% w.e.f 01-01-2024 for Central Govt. Employees & Pensioners. With increase in DA, HRA raised frm 27%, 19% & 9% of basic pay to 30%, 20% & 10%, respectively. Gratutity Limit: Now 25 lakhs.
