It’s shocking to me how often I hear ‘catch the ball with two hands’. It’s an outdated decades old phrase that was true when gloves literally didn’t have pockets. They were essentially hand pillows. It’s 2021. We have pockets. How about letting kids move and be athletic?

Understanding the difference between busy work/warm and fuzzy work (or what I like to call “feel good about going home and hopping on the Xbox work”) and REAL work is a huge thing for young players. One is common, and the other isn’t. One is effective, and the other isn’t.
