CEO @ Unified State Group & Pres @ Eminent | Forbes 500 & 400 Business Partner in Africa | $13.4B DOD Contract Winner | 2023 Black Business of the Year Awardee
I moved to Atlanta to be closer to our culture and my family here.
A year and a half later, I was awarded the Black Business Of the Year Award by the National Black Chamber of Commerce.
If culture matters to you, also put a heart in the comments.
Before I left my old job, I asked the owner to mentor me.
This relationship helped me get my first 1099 contract.
I learned something important: all the good things happen to us because of other people.
Remember, there is a $6.8 trillion government spending plan for 2024 in America.
All of that has to be spent in 12 months, starting from 10/1/23-9/30/24.
Go get your taxes back.
The Billionaires that Iβve met only want to work with people with great energy and great ideas.
Money becomes a commodity & just part of the game.
Influence, impact, legacy, & pursuing personal passions.
Faith is the best currency.
I have had 7 meetings today already. I still took time to acknowledge most of the comments so far.
I can't wait for you all to see what my team and I are working on.
Trust me, you haven't seen anything yet!
This is God's year!
Bro, you will only make it so far without a good woman in your life.
Wait until you meet the person God has planned for you.
Don't settle for less because you don't believe God will send you the right one.
When I joined the Marines as a coder and while working at the Pentagon after, I learned a lot about tech.
At the White House, I learned even more.
The most important lesson was that tech is not about devices or apps. It's about people.
Customers first, team second.
Cedric and I met in the Marines 20 + years ago. The journey has been a journey but it was worth it.
On this day we shook hands on a deal that will change his life forever.
Generational wealth is real. Passing on success.

How I create bulletproof plans for Billion $ deals:
- Figure out what you want
- Write a plan - goals, risks, budget, resources, strategy, team
- Study the customer & competition
- Use AI to find flaws
- Get feedback from pros
- Test my plan
- Make changes
- Keep going
I wanted a wife that I could grow with. Instead, I got one that:
- Supports me
- Shares responsibilities
- Pushes me
- Validates me
- Loves me
God delivers on his promises.
There was a time when I was undisciplined and unfocused.
I realized it was because I honestly didnβt know what to do next.
I got stuck and then became distracted.
Find people, books, and videos that help you get unstuck and stay focused on your goals.
I stay focused on my vision by seeing myself as a tree growing up to the sun (God). Everything around me will change.
As I grow, some people and ideas might come and go, just like a tree loses branches and leaves, but thatβs just part of the journey.
Stay focused!
In 2009, I learned that building a group with goal-driven people to share ideas and support each other is the fastest way to grow in business and in life.
I partner with people for Billion $ deals who have valuable skills & access that I donβt have.
This is how I do it:
Iβm skipping the Grammys this year to grind with my team on a game-changing proposal.
Why?
Because real success demands sacrificing fun now for bigger wins.
You have to say no if you really want to grow.
I had a major breakthrough, when I realized value does not come from comparing ourselves to others but from embracing our uniqueness.
I only want friends who encourage me to celebrate my individuality and hold me accountable for staying true to myself.
A big mistake I made early on was not understanding that just because an idea is good doesn't mean it's profitable.
In my Gov Con journey, it took aligning my ideas with the specific needs of contracts.
Now I ask, βIt's a good idea, but is it a profitable idea?β
Through these technologies we will transform every industry in Africa:
- Artificial intelligence
- Biotech
- Quantum computing
- Green energy
So much amazing stuff is coming!
While everyone enjoyed their Super Bowl weekend, I was drafting a proposal:
- 8 sections
- 12,816 words
- 34 pages
- 2 pricing sheets
The effort behind big deals is massive.
We can watch others work & win in their game, or we can work & win ours.
Put in the work!
I'm thinking about filming myself closing $50 billion in deals by using AI in 90 days.
I want to share the process on YouTube. I have to keep some secrets, but I believe I can share my journey without giving away anything I shouldn't.
Do you think I should do it?
I didnβt go to school for business.
Instead, I read lots of business books, watched tons of videos, went to workshops, prayed and more.
The biggest lesson I learned is that success depends on the people you work with and your plan.
As you grow older, you become more aware of the value of time.
You start choosing carefully how to spend it and who to share it with, ensuring each moment is meaningful and well-spent.
Time management is actually life management.
My 5 step journey to financial freedom:
Marines - discipline, organization & focus on whatβs important
Coding - math, logic, & systems design
Entrepreneurship - economics & emotional intelligence
Africa - our history & global economics
God - service, faith & love
If you want to close billion $ deals faster, the best strategy is to partner with people who have a track record of closing such deals.
Here is how to do it:
This is proof that the world is FINALLY waking up to Africaβs potential.
I'm so excited to announce that Iβm representing Unified State Group (USG) as a speaker in this powerful event at The George Washington University during World Bank week.
Why is this such a big deal?
We can either choose to eat healthier foods now or take pills later.
Eat:
- less sugar
- less alcohol
- less fast food
- less processed foods
- less bad fats
- more fruits & veggies
- more whole grains
- more lean proteins
- more water
- more fiber
Health leads to wealth!
In my early days as an entrepreneur, I used Upwork to find people to help with my projects.
Hereβs what I learned:
- Many people didnβt have the skills or professionalism needed.
- Problems with communication led to misunderstandings and delays.
- Itβs important to hire people
I started my first business in 10th grade as a music producer.
Over two decades later, Iβm working towards having 2 billion people pray for our success each night.
Helping others is key; the more you assist, the more God supports you.
Donβt give up too early!
If you keep pushing, youβll achieve your goals.
Think of time as a circle, not a straight line. Some goals need a few laps around the circle, while others need many.
Keep going round and round, and youβll cross the finish line.
I remind my team to focus on our control points:
What we stand for
Where weβre going
What we want
What we do
Who we serve
What the goal is
How hard we work
Who we work with
What we put up with
What we believe
Who we listen to
When we quit
Win by controlling what you can.
I was supposed to leave for Marine Corps Boot Camp the day 9-11 happened. I was terrified, but I did it anyway.
I had fear, shame & guilt projected onto me from friends & family.
That was 22+ yrs ago.
So trust me when I say, other people's opinions donβt phase me. β€οΈ
In my journey, learning patience and planning step by step has shown me that big dreams, like securing Billion $ deals or growing a business, take a lot of time and daily effort.
Make every day count.
Building strong friendships and connections with others who believe in what we believe is really important.
When I help or give to others, I do it because I genuinely want to, not just to show off or get attention.
Ready to join us?
@bryceyancy
I only answer to God bro. His opinion trumps everyone elseβs.
I can easily discern who is sent from him and who isnβt.
Like you! Thank you.
Unpopular opinion but true:
Most grossly underestimate what it takes to close big deals. Itβs not just hard; it kills so many dreams.
My principles that worked:
- Double your time/budget
- Obsess over planning
- Only partner with the best
- Mediocrity is expensive
I knew they existed, but I now see clearly how many fake accounts there are spewing hatred on X.
If you find accounts without pictures of the person who owns it, it's best not to pay attention to what they say.
When our plans (proposals) donβt work, we shouldnβt just stop. Instead, we should learn from what went wrong and make a better plan.
Failure doesnβt last.
My team lost 100s of deals. Weβve won the ones that mattered.
Plan better with better plans.
I just asked someone this question:
If you only had one wish from God to have any type of technology, what would it be?
They said, βA device that could instantly heal any illness or injury.β
Whatβs yours?
When I started my career, I didn't focus on God.
Looking back, this was the biggest mistake for two reasons.
I didn't listen to His guidance, which could have helped me make better choices. Also, I spent a lot of time studying things that eventually led me back to God.

Our brother has passed, leaving us with a legacy to uphold. Nearly two years ago, I had the privilege of meeting Louis Gossett at his home here in Atlanta, where he became one of the first to hear about my vision to upgrade democracy and unify our people through UBA. He shared
What I would work on if I were 22 right now:
I would work hard to become great at prompt engineering & use that skill to get equity in a fast-growing company that is making the world better, even in a small way.
One of the most important things Iβll teach my kids:
The way we talk to ourselves shapes our outcomes.
The way we talk to others shapes our quality of life.
Master your words, master your world!
I hope this helps.
Advanced Contracting vs Basic English
1. Solicitation = request for proposals
2. Contractual Obligation = contract requirement
3. Procurement Process = buying process
4. Fiscal Responsibility = managing money wisely
5. Regulatory Compliance = following
If it werenβt for God sending such amazing people into my life, I would have nothing and be nothing.
Thank you all for what you have done and will do!
When I was a kid, I watched my Dad build businesses.
He was in real estate, owned a telemarketing company, and sold cars.
I didnβt just want to be like my dad when I grew up. I wanted to be better.
He taught me a lot, including what not to do.
Only the disciplined and committed win at life, love, and business (especially government contracting and billion $ partnerships)
Laziness and sloppiness?
God made sure those are paths to failure.
If youβre not pushing yourself to grow, youβre just preparing to lose.
Get
Gratitude. Iβm beyond grateful for all the love Iβve received this week. I trusted God and look what happened! There is more amazing news coming. Stay tuned!
All my life, I thought I understood the concept of faith.
Now I see itβs not just about what you think or believe.
What really matters to God is what you do.
Faith is about doing things on purpose every day to prove that you believe.
Action speaks louder than words.
AI is growing fast, and we need to act now or weβll miss out.
If we don't, many people, especially those already struggling, will fall even further behind.
I'm launching the β90 Day Billions with AI Challengeβ to make sure everyone can keep up with this change.
@Iam_Omar237
It's ok because I'm actually a member of the Black Culture bro. It's important for us to see us winning.
It all happened exactly how God wanted.
Reminder:
When we say, βI wish I had more money,β it's the same as saying, βI wish I could be of service to more people.β or βI wish I could get people to see my value.β
Money is attracted to service and value.
The more you help people with money, the more money you earn.
People often mistake my confidence for arrogance. However, my confidence is derived from my relationship with God, not from the opinions of others.
This spiritual foundation keeps me grounded in my values and helps me navigate through life with clarity.

This was the main reason I got into tech and IT.
I read articles in
@Entrepreneur
and
@successmagazine
when I was 18.
Both articles talked about a whole new era of millionaires generating their wealth in tech. They said it was the wave of the future and I decided that day I
I've spent 20 years in government, watching how our taxes fund services that don't earn money.
Us Contractors get paid Billions each year to help government staff with tasks they can't or don't have time to do themselves.
Both play important, valuable roles.
In the Marine Corps, I learned the importance of owning mistakes quickly, addressing them face to face, and moving forward without dwelling on them.
Most people never take accountability and ownership of their mistakes.
Be different! Be better!
I learned early in my career that most advice comes from people who havenβt actually won any significant deals.
Itβs important to look at what theyβve actually achieved, not just whatβs on their resume.
Also, ask them what part they played in those successes.
Contractors:
You don't get into government contracts just for the prestige.
You donβt submit bids just to inflate your portfolio.
You donβt pursue projects to one-up your competitors.
You donβt sign agreements for a quick profit or short-term gains.
You engage in government
If I could send a text message right now to my younger self, I would say:
Ignore the voice in your head that says you wonβt have enough money to take care of yourself and buy the things you need or want.
Keep growing!
Here is another billion $ generational wealth building tip:
Stop wasting your time on unimportant stuff!
Make a list and knock out the most important stuff first, or youβll never get where you want to be!
Avoid being stressed by executing for decades, not days!
@jeff_robinson56
, you have no idea how powerful of a catalyst your film βWho We Are: A Chronicle of Racism in Americaβ on Netflix will be in the future of our planet. Thank you King!
The biggest barrier to our success is often our own self-talk:
"I can't afford it." β‘οΈ "How can I afford it?"
"I don't have the money." β‘οΈ "How can I obtain the funding?"
"They don't want people like me." β‘οΈ "How can I become indispensable to them?"
Shift from definitive
I just finished 9 meetings since I woke up this morning, but I took a break to tell you this:
Growing your business, keeping your promises, and doing what you're supposed to do is all about building trust & showing that you can be counted on every time.
Here are some
The first time I got scammed was when I got tricked by a scammer on Craigslist.
This person was supposed to meet me at a Starbucks, but I made a big mistake by paying him before we met.
I learned an important lesson that day:
Some people will do anything to make money, but
We are 5 days in on a massive deal:
Our approach:
Make our offer stand out by really helping them and showing how good we are at it. Make it clear: choosing us = their life gets better. Show them the wins, not just the words.
Is Africa stuck because of weak leaders?
Having a country with a mediocre leader is like trying to win a race with a broken-down car.
Itβs frustrating and nearly impossible.
Africa needs leaders who are as amazing as the claims they make when they run for office.
AI is the biggest wealth creator since the internet; only the App Store & the early days of crypto come close, but they donβt come close.
AI is eating most of the apps that we love. Soon, it will eat companies too.
You can use AI to learn, create, and win billion $deals.
You can leapfrog 100% of your peers like this:
1. Keep learning throughout your life.
2. Prove your success with measurable achievements.
3. Manage risks smartly.
4. Explain your plans clearly.
5. Build a strong network.
6. Be flexible and ready to change tactics.
7. Always
