*Totally understand that women/non-cis/LGBTQA are attracted to Lady Dimitrescu. But straight cis-men have been heavily involved in the thirst vs somebody like The Darkling or Kylo Ren who are mainly romanticized by women/LGBTQA. This makes a huge difference in the discourse.

Making “Skywalker” some aspirational metaphor ignores the true tragedy of the family&dusts them under the rug. Rian’s approach was much smarter imo b/c it was not only legends like Luke Skywalker who inspired the orphan kids. It was Rose, Finn, anybody who saved what they loved.

I saw #GlassOnion finally & M A N do I have thoughts. @rianjohnson ’s use of the whodunit, a genre driven by the search for truth, to summarize the crisis of truth in the digital age is brilliant & there’s one scene in particular that’s so bold in its commentary, I audibly gasped.
