I know this isn’t ideal but as a TO I’m, frankly, tired of hosting tournaments on broken ports. It creates stress for staff and players alike and is bad PR for the game. When someone visits our stream and sees disconnects, crashes, and general glitches it’s not a good look.

We made the announcement last night in Discord but we’ll be running this week’s #UNI2 bracket on PlayStation. We know this isn’t ideal as most of the player base is in PC but we’re still not comfortable with the state of the port. Once it improves more we’ll return to PC.

The travel stream PC has been fully miniaturized. It’s rocking a 3060 along side a 5600x. Has no heat issues and was able to handle streaming both MBTL and UNI2 at 1080p to YT and Twitch simultaneously. Planning to test with GBVSR later this week.

I’m sure there’s at least one other person that needs this: Pyramid - Hold guard button. React to low with spotdodge. Yggy - Block rocks, jump forward on wind ball, dodge lightning and lava. Dodging late is better to avoid being caught in recovery. Anti #GBVSR_LO

I think the single best decision I've made when it comes to learning FGs was to play GBVSR ranked with a notepad. Writing down what smokes me in a set and then looking for the answers at the end of my session has helped me improve so much more quickly.

Replay takeover in #UNI2 is actually broken. I'm not someone who learns well when the answer is just given to me, I need to figure it out myself and I finally feel enabled to do that well. I'm already finding easy counterplay to things that have cooked me.

@nicolethepeach @riotgames I’m a TO based in NYC who runs, produces, and commentates weekly online brackets for GBVS, UNICLR, MBTL, & BBCF as well as offline monthlies for GGST, GGXRD, UNICLR, MBTL, and GBVS. This might weirdly be the project I’m most excited about to have completed. My travel stream setup now 100% fits in a carryon. Travel keyboard hasn’t arrived yet but it should fit no problem over the PC and Camera. Monitors are stored in the laptop pocket.
