This was one of the most recurring notes for newer animators on Prime that everyone at some point got. 1)There had to be the Sonic 3 quill shape at almost every angle. 2)It had to look smooth. Making the quills to look better towards the camera may create bumps cause of the rig.

The rig isn't always going to be accommodating but it's not like a game where the players control the camera, there was much less the audience could do to see all the ✨magic✨ behind the scenes. And by magic, I mean the weird forced perspective stuff to make the poses look good.

@Satellite_09 I don't think it's the LAST of big budget animation, maybe the latest but definitely not the last. I think 2D animation does better under smaller creators from this point on but this did start off as a short and more small creators can be noticed as long as the idea is great.

Hot take: I really liked this Boom model. It was just so poorly received cause of the game it debuted with. Luckily the TV show and DS somewhat saved it some people's eyes. Aside from this, I can take it or leave. Sonic's current 'Modern' model is fine.

Netflix uses the first couple of days of airing it as a barometer as to whether or not green light a season 2. If you wait til the season's "finished" your view will not count in that measure.

We had a version of this yellow clad Mega Man as a character called Man Man in Fully Charged. He was a fun quirky take on the Mega Man that was in the "bad box art" and the Street FighterX Tekken game. I think it's great when franchises can be a bit silly with their IPs.

@downrightdpad @AvatarNetflix That move he uses to split the fire apart at the 46 second mark is also a move that he learns from fighting Aang. It's an airbender technique and in the cartoon he uses it against Azula. It doesn't make sense that he would know how to use it at this point in time.
