Immensely proud of our skipper, Ben Mee, tonight. Insisted unprompted, while walking off the pitch tonight, that he wanted to say something to the wider audience, and spoke for the whole club.
Delighted to officially be joining
@Everton
as PR Manager.
A new challenge at an interesting time for the club and one I’m looking forward to immensely.
I’ve so much to thank the club for in my 15 years, and it’s been an absolute honour and privilege to be a part of an amazing era.
And this guy… well, he’s just about as good as it gets.
Up the Clarets!
This is what real opposition looks like & Boris Johnson was left floundering in a sea of his own spin & bluster. Now UK media needs to step up too
@Keir_Starmer
Stay at home and don’t mix, but go to school for now, but I’ll be introducing tougher lockdown measures - and shutting schools shortly - is peak Johnson.
Sean Dyche, Tom Heaton, Ben Mee and Tony Loughlan all made a personal visit to the King Power Stadium today to lay a wreath in memory of the five persons who lost their lives in the recent helicopter crash.
I mean, if this is genuinely the new slogan, it says absolutely nothing.
Stay alert: to what?
Do I go out, should I stay in?
Can I mingle?
Can I see my mum if I’m ‘alert’?
Control the virus. By staying alert?
It’s invisible!
Save Lives. Tell people to bloody stay at home then!
First opening day with a watching brief since 2006. Excited for all the returning Clarets fans after so long away and wishing everyone connected with the club all the very best for today and the Premier League season.
UTC!
Sad to see
@JeffHendrick92
leave. Always been a smiling face around the camp and I’ll miss that soft Irish lilt.
Best of luck in your next adventure mate.

@talkSPORT
Disrespectful, Darren,! And completely untrue.
Dwight McNeil has a black father and isn’t the only black player to have proudly worn the shirt this season, across all levels of the club.
As a press officer, when you need someone to front up in a team and do tough interviews, your go-to is the captain. A reminder that Boris Johnson is the captain of the Government team.
A life-changing year draws to a close.
Wishing all the best to my friends at Turf Moor for 2022.
Thanks to all who have made me feel so welcome at Everton.
And a happy new year to all my friends and Twitter followers.
Life is good. Roll on next year. 🥳
Last tweet of the year to thank all Clarets fans for their interactions, good and bad: family and friends, just for being you, and all others who I work with and always enjoy the company of.
Have a great new year everyone and here's to another eventful year. 🍻🥂
Incredibly proud night for
@Tarky19
and
@BurnleyOfficial
.
Justification too for Tarky for holding on, rather than go down the Polish route. Was always his preferred option and the dream has come true. 👏
Have to say, today was one of the most enjoyable days in the Premier League era.
Really feels like you are moving forward as a club when you bridge the gap by beating a top six side.
With just a smidgen of luck, that would be seven wins in eight!
Including all social media platforms, this has now had over 2m views. Two million!
That simply blows anything else we've ever produced out of the water.
That's quite something.
12th season done and dusted. Huge thanks if you've interacted, either personally, or with the club, over the past 10, emotionally-packed months.
It's been a blast!
Off for a lie down now.
Proud moment for
@Gudmundsson7
and for
@BurnleyOfficial
as he becomes the first Burnley player to appear in a World Cup finals since Billy Hamilton in 1982.
Remember it well.
15th season done and dusted.
One of the fortunate ones to be able to watch it all unfold, and hugely grateful for that.
Highs and lows aplenty and ultimately delighted for everyone who got the job done in testing circumstances.
But please, let that be the last behind closed doors
Home and wondering whether to be delighted at a point, or gutted at lightning striking twice in the same place.
Either way, proud of this magnificent football club and all who sail aboard her. Unbeaten in 3 games at Old Trafford. Not many can say that!
I love it that the press are finally waking up to the immense talent of
@trippier2
. Must have seen half a dozen profile pieces this week.
Destined for great things
Absolutely gutted to hear about Taffy passing away.
Meeting Leighton was one of my most treasured memories of life
@BurnleyOfficial
.
The greatest. 😢
Just after this pic, the gaffer got asked how proud he was after achieving the Clarets highest league position in 42 years.
"I’m proud, super proud, prouder than the proudest man in Proudsville."
#Proud
Sad day for everyone to see a legend like Duffo leave the club. Fourteen years experience will stand him in great stead for the next challenge. He'll make a great manager
It'll be an emotional day on Monday as we say goodbye to a Clarets legend.
Barnesy, thanks for all the goals, all the laughs and all the memories you’ve given us over the years. You’ll always be a Claret 💜
"It is time, perhaps, for an uncomfortable conversation"
@tonylivesey
, a huge
@BurnleyOfficial
fan, talks about the anger he felt seeing a 'White Lives Matter Burnley' banner being towed over his teams match vs Man City at the Etihad stadium.

Will never forget waking up to this pic on the back page of the newspapers. Brendan Flood spotted the podium as we chatted pitchside and sidled us towards it. Blown up, framed and takes pride of place in the house. Still makes me smile when I see it.
