To preserve the cleanroom environment, only certain items are allowed inside. Pencils & regular paper produce fine dust, so tablets & special shed-free “clean paper” are used to record our work 📝 The videos we share are from curators wearing these head cameras (2nd from right)!

How do we weigh & photograph the #OSIRISREx #Bennu sample? 🪟 Vacuum tweezers (which lift via air suction) safely remove the container window. ⚖️ Our new scales weigh even more accurately than for Hayabusa2. 🔬 The sample height can be measured automatically by photomicroscopy.
