Having welcomed ~3,200 medievalists to virtual
#imc2020
, our team are busy packing down around campus... Oh wait, sorry this tweet came from a parallel universe! We're going to be digitally tidying away virtual IMC over the coming days. We hope everyone had as much fun as we did!
It is with great sadness that we have decided to cancel this year’s International Medieval Congress, 6-9 July 2020, as a result of the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19). Find out more via our full statement:
We're delighted that the

Your
#IMC2024
team are feeling a mixture of pride, relief and probably sleep deprivation, but it’s always amazing when we see our delegates enjoying the Congress! To our delegates, staff and all involved who helped us- Thank you ❤️ let’s end on a medieval high until 2025 🥳
Following our digital participation survey, we are excited to announce virtual
#IMC2020
will run during the same week that IMC2020 was scheduled, from Monday 6 July – Friday 10 July 2020, 09.00-18.00 British Summer Time.
