Members of the DSA held a hugely a productive meeting today with Andrew Clark at Hull City. We felt energised and valued and look forward to a great working relationship with Andrew & Hull City going forward.
Good feedback on Swansea disabled facilities. Excellent viewing platform, toilets of a good standard & disability stewards friendly & helpful one fan tells us.
We are disappointed to hear some of our disabled travelling supporters yesterday had an unsatisfactory experience. Fans in wheelchairs etc have as much right to safely watch the match as everyone else.

We are looking to connect with fans with disabilities as we forge ahead with Level Playing Field. Our group has representatives of fans with mobility amongst others but would like to reach out to fans with sensory, sight , hearing issues.
We’ve today contacted Swansea DIsability & Accessibility team ahead of our fixture on the 25th. Swansea have an excellent reputation for their disability facilities & we look forward to meeting them.

Our own survey this summer highlighted a number of fans who suffered with anxiety over attending a football match especially away games. The move by Hull City to have a DLO at away games will go along way to helping with this.

Today is International Day for Persons with disabilities. It was good to see Adam Loubani at the stadium yesterday who won gold at the special olympics in June. Athletes like Adam are role models to fans with disabilities. Chris Skelly & Nathan Brown are others locally
Hull City fans with disabilities driving to Birmingham next Wednesday are advised there are 5 available parking spaces at the ground bookable in advance on 0121 772 0101 we have contacted Birmingham regards other services.

The club has received the prototype card mount for wheelchair or mobility scooter users and it’s been fitted to Unit 7 in the East Stand ready for Friday’s game with Stoke.

Stoma Friendly toilets are fast becoming the norm in sport, retail and beyond. Relatively inexpensive but they make the life of a patient with a stoma that bit easier as they go about their everyday lives.
