Prince Harry has revealed that he believes Michelle Fitzgerald should have won Survivor: Winners at War over Tony Vlachos.
“Her social fame was exquisite, and she didn’t get enough recognition for that,” he writes in his new memoir Spare.

CALLING ALL FREELANCE WRITERS:
I’m the Associate Entertainment Editor at
@ParadeMagazine
, and I’m looking for some lovely new freelancers to write regular coverage of film and TV (especially reality TV and late night atm). Queer and BIPOC writers are more than welcome!
MY POLICEMAN: So so so smitten with this gay Atonement. The whole cast is solid, but Emma Corrin really shines. Also SO MUCH GAY SEX and Harry Styles’s bare ass. Idk what he was talking about in that press conference. Super horny.

Let me tell you. The BEST person to befriend in NYC is a non-annoying theater-obsessed gay (very rare). They will tell you exactly which three off Broadway shows to see each year and you’ll appear SO cultured while doing no work whatsoever.
My career’s magnum opus is this SURVIVOR ranking that has been in the works for MONTHS. Channeling my inner

for this one.
I'd like to publically announce myself as the Helen Hunt/Holly Hunter dyslexic on this week's episode of
@whoweekly
. Thank you for your patience as I continue to live with this difficult condition.
If you are interested, shoot me over an email with a brief bio, a few writing samples, and a list of shows/genres you would be especially jazzed to cover. Also please share this with your besties. Email is Matthew.huff

ORIGIN: Absolutely adored this. Some will say it’s too academic or preachy, but Ava DuVernay masterfully ties together revolutionary scholarship and the deepest wells of human emotion. I was SOBBING SOBBING SOBBING. Never has research been so cinematic. A brainy work of art.
NORTH STAR: Scar Jo and Frieda Pinto are lesbians, which I love, but otherwise this romantic dramedy is a lil uneven. Good moments but the script could have used a polish. KST steals the show as an actor, but not so much as a director/writer.
WHITE NOISE: IDK why this didn’t get more hype out of Venice. This movie is a bop! Love the witty banter, the kids are so freaking funny, give it the Production Design Oscar now, and the end credits sequence just might be my favorite EVER MADE.

TAR: No notes. A perfect film. 2.5 hours long and I didn’t check my watch once. Makes sense I’d love this as lesbians are fave group of humans and this is lesbian Drive My Car.
FIVE DAYS AT MEMORIAL is a horrifying but extremely well executed and necessary show. It feels like watching Chernobyl all over again, and the cast (including Vera Farmiga and Cherry Jones) give powerful performances. Hopefully people stream it on Apple and give it some Emmys.
After 1.5 years, tomorrow is my last day at
@BuzzFeed
. In so many ways, it’s been the best job of my life, and I’ll miss it dearly. But there are new things coming soon…
FAIR PLAY: The tension! This screenplay should be handed out to all film majors. A masterclass where every moment builds perfectly on the last. My boy Han Solo deserves a Best Actor nom, and Bridgerton is 👌 as well. Don’t work in finance. Don’t date a coworker.

I understand that I am uncool for texting/tweeting with upper case letters and punctuation. I blame
@hunteryharris
for this development in society, but I will continue to be lovably lame.
The post-Pride comedown has so far today resulted in me going to the gym at 6am like a maniac, impulse-buying greeting cards because I saw a TikTok about letter-writing, and crying to the Hadestown soundtrack in the shower.
Please disregard all my actions until further notice.
Was just thinking about how when I was a kid, my grandpa worked at McDonald’s and one year he brought me the entire display of Barbie toys home from work even though I was a boy and they were the “girl toys.” 🥰🏳️🌈🥰🏳️🌈🥰
DOCTOR STRANGE is pure camp. So unhinged and outrageously bonkers that it ends up being nearly perfect? Or maybe it’s just terrible? Or maybe it’s so bad it circles back round to being good? Marvel is TAKING SWINGS and Olsen is flawless as always. Needed more gay.
I have never read RED WHITE AND ROYAL BLUE, but I had a grand ole gay time watching the movie. It’s cheesy as hell and Umq Thurman’s accent is deranged, but I kept finding myself chuckling and swooning nonetheless.

Gah!! So sorry! Def an oversight on my part. Loved you on your season but remembered you as more of a funny guy than a nerd. Will rectify when I update for Survivor 43!
80 FOR BRADY is the perfect fluffy piece of ridiculous, campy filmmaking. Multiple applause breaks (started by me) in our screening. If anyone gives this a bad review, its definitely a straight man.

SR.: Weeping at 10am. Just ferociously crying. But also so charming and delightful and sweet and melancholy. Plus, half of it was filmed in Kips Bay so sucks to suck to everyone who shits on my neighborhood. A great “I Love NYC” movie. Going to buy Kleenex now.

Coronavirus has finally convinced me of what my parents have said all along: I should have become an engineer, got married young, and bought a big house near them in Michigan. I’d be rich and quarantined someplace with a lawn and a wife.
THE BOY AND THE HERON: Homer’s Odyssey meets Narnia meets Alice in Wonderland. Stunning animation and one of the year’s best scores create a vibey fantasy, but one that is perhaps best puzzled through on rewatches. This one’s more for lit undergrads than kiddos.

Formally announcing the arrival of a new crush!
So if you get lunch with me, you will have to listen to me prattle on about him for thirty minutes.
Also pencil me in for a mental breakdown on a Saturday at 2am sometime in March.
