Really enjoyed the viewing at the
@Theatrebarn1
in Bretforton last night which forms part of the
#broadwayartsfestival
I was really impressed by the range and quality of the art.
The exhibition is open until Sun October 6th from 11am to 4pm.
Pics of flooding in Murcot and Evesham, Worcestershire today.
Water levels are still rising in many areas but will hopefully fall overnight after peaking later this evening.
Pleased to attend the Cavendish Park Care Home
@macmillancancer
coffee morning.
Special thanks to Kim Malynn for arranging the visit and to (Happy) Jean Dyke who at 94 years old participated in a park run last Saturday in aid of Macmillan.

Further heavy rain is expected across the Midlands region and more flood alerts and warnings have been given.
Please stay alert, keep up to date with latest information - and take care.

Labour's politically motivated and exaggeratedly negative comments about the UK economy is having real world impacts - with consumer confidence slumping and investment and recruiting stalled.
Chancellor: if you go around telling everyone how terrible the UK is, don't be surprised
The OECD data today yet again shows that Labour were left a strong economic inheritance, despite their desperation to say otherwise. The Chancellor's choices at the Budget will be hers and hers alone.
#TheExamQuestion
Q1. Illustrate results in education over two recent periods under governments of different parties. You may use a time-series graph.
Ans:
Labour were not ready for government and it shows. Time and time again I had to expose the left for their stupidity, dishonesty and hypocrisy and robustly defend our turf against their attacks.
Defending conservative principles is a strength, not a weakness 👇
I recently spoke on
#BBCAQ
about debt, the pandemic and economic confidence.
The UK is the world's 6th largest economy, leading in sectors like life sciences, tech & creative industries.
To attract investment and enable growth we need the government to talk the UK up not down.
A taste of things to come?
Of course nurses rejected 5.5% because the Labour government have caved in on significantly higher increases elsewhere (with no conditions attached) & signalled that they're always happy to settle pay disputes by spending other peoples money. So, Duh!
🚨 BREAKING: Nurses have rejected the government’s pay award of a 5.5% rise - at the exact moment Rachel Reeves boasted about settling pay disputes in public services
Rachel Reeves choosing VERY careful wording on taxes on 'working people'.
CLEARLY in order to pave the way FOR TAX RISES ON WORKING PEOPLE because working people pay taxes through pensions, savings and capital gains, too, that in this phrasing she has deliberately excluded.
If
If Rachel Reeves wants to tackle tax evasion and avoidance then why did she not vote for our last two Finance Bills that contained such measures?
Labour are now advocating in government our policies that they failed to support when they were in opposition.
Utter hypocrisy.
Rachel Reeves is taking the British public for fools.
If there really is a £22bn black hole then why spend:
£10bn on inflation busting pay rises
£8bn on GB Energy
£7bn on a National Wealth Fund?
That's an extra £25bn on Labour priorities while cutting £1.5bn on Winter Fuel!
Persistent heavy rain and thunderstorms across England tonight and Monday may cause surface water

and travel disruption.
Plan ahead and sign up for flood warnings:

More evidence that the Chancellor's decision to cut Winter Fuel Allowances is completely unnecessary:
She has been given an unexpected £10 billion lifeline by the Bank of England while she expects her cuts to Winter Fuel to 'save' just £1.5 billion.
We are fortunate to have many great hospitality venues in Worcestershire.
I recently visited the impressively refurbished Castle pub in Droitwich Spa.
They’ve got lots of exciting events planned - including this Saturday an Oktoberfest Celebration, from 2pm.
