Everytime I think my love and respect for Sachin Tendulkar can't go any higher, I get surprised that it actually can. My man at 23 played the entire 1996 WC with 9-10 fixers and still scored 523 runs and carried the team to Semi-Finals. The greatest carryjob ever in history.

David Miller came in at 24/4 and scored 101(126) at 87 SR vs Australia on a more difficult pitch. That is how you play when collapse occurs. No way people can excuse KL's 66(107) at a SR of 61 when he came in at 81/3.

According to clowns, if a bowler doesn't take wickets, he has failed without looking at the economy rate. ER of 2.7 in Powerplay is insane. He complemented Shami & Siraj very much. Bumrah had two great WCs in 2019 & 2023.

I have never seen someone reinventing his game in late 30s except for Rohit Sharma. Whether it was the intent mad approach in 2023 WC going hard in the Powerplay or the knock vs Australia in the WT20. If he fires in the KOs, he will end up having heaps of respect from fans.

This is exactly how KL should've played. SA were in a worse situation than ICT. They were 24/4 on Kolkata pitch which was tougher than Ahmedabad one. Despite that, Miller scored a sensational 100 with a SR of 80+. He could've hit only 1 boundary in his 100 balls but he didn't.

I still can't understand why Dinesh Karthik was dropped. If Hooda isn't going to bowl, then it was better you've persisted with DK. Hooda is a Top 3 player. He is not a finisher, DK is. The closer the WT20 gets, the more I am losing faith in Rohit-Dravid.

Ye Ranji Trophy band karwao bc. Kyu becharo ko dhoop mei khilate ho jab selection IPL se hi karwana ho to? Mazak bana ke rakha hai. Ruturaj who averages 42 in FC cricket has been selected ahead of Sarfaraz who averages 77. Even in BGT Surya was selected on the basis of T20s.

Irrespective of whatever happens tomorrow, Rohit and Virat should retire from T20Is and focus on longer formats. We have players to take over in T20Is, but we need them in Tests and ODIs. Also, both of them have unfinished business in those formats.

One reason why Rahul & Kohli went into shell was because SKY & Jadeja were to come in next. Both are highly unreliable. They didn't have trust in their batting. Imagine if we had someone like Miller or Klaasen to follow KL, maybe he would've played a bit more aggressively.

Anyone who feels X or Y is better than Sachin needs to watch this documentary on Netflix. Fixers like Azhar, Jadeja, Mongia, Prabhakar made it hard for Sachin. Still carried the entire team on his back in the entirety of the 90s. He was helpless.

Before 2019, people predicted that Kohli might overtake Smith because Smith's technique relies highly on hand eye coordination and it declines with age whereas Kohli's not so much. Fast forward to 2023, Kohli has declined where as Smith is still going strong.

One of the best pitches I have seen in subcontinent in the last few years. Batters can score runs if applied correctly. Spinners can take wickets if they have enough skills. Pacers can take wickets if they know the art of reverse swing.

Seeing Shaw's game, the one thing that separates Shaw from Sehwag is his game against spin. Sehwag is literally the greatest spin butcher I have ever seen. Hence, he was able to continue being destructive post PP. Same can't be said for Shaw. His game is a bit weak vs spin.

Virat Kohli was not as great a Test captain as people thought he was. He was good but not great. Reason, since VK took captaincy ICT toured SENA 4 times under him and lost 3 of them (not counting Eng 2021 since he left midway) & won 1 against weakest ever Aus team in 2018.

One of the reasons why Sehwag was so successful was because he used to demoralize the bowlers by his attacking instinct. Hence their line and length got disrupted. Idhar bc we are allowing bowlers to set into good rhythm. 😭😭😭

When in fact they should have done vice versa. ICT really missed a trick there by not sending MS Dhoni at 5. He could've absorbed the situation by playing some dot balls, rotated strike and that would've allowed the finishers Hardik, DK and Jaddu to finish the game.
