#marvellous
Thank you
@ManCity
for including my dad, Tommy Hoyland in players who have passed away this year… a real bit of class and makes me very proud to have started my career there ⚔️⚽️
Let me introduce you to Ella Constance Kirkby born 20/6/2022 at 20.54 weighing 7lb 15oz, our 1st grandchild. She is adorable and beautiful, ‘Pops’ is certainly going to spoil you 😘😘
So that’s official.....Blades are Premier League, congratulations Tufty and all his staff, what an amazing job he’s done, put the pride back in Sheffield United
Whatever happens, fantastic to know that somebody who you have grown up with and been lucky enough to play in the same side and knows exactly what it’s like for the fans, good or bad, tonight to be top of the league...Chris Wilder absolutely marvellous 👏🏻👏🏻
36 years since it all started
@buryfcofficial
fantastic to be back on the pitch at Gigg Lane, volunteers have done an unbelievable job with the ground, keep it going we will be back ⚽️
Unfortunately the incident at Birmingham sums up our society not just football at the moment, they believe they can do anything and get away with it and also have their 15 minutes of fame !
Please stop having a go at the players it’s not nice, I know what’s it’s like even though social media did nothing exist in the early 90’s you still knew and it does not help...I can vouch for that !
Happy 89th birthday to this
@SheffieldUnited
legend. Fantastic to see him happy and and smiling with the gang yesterday on our visit with his new bench 🍷🎂🎉xx
Thank you Burnley FC for including my dad in the list, he loved following me playing for the Clarets and was always made to feel very welcome. His favourite player was Ted McMinn. ⚽️
Yesterday we held a one-minute applause at Turf Moor to reflect on the loss of all members of the Clarets family who passed away in the previous calendar year 🌹
Here something about different on Twitter which is not toxic or negative, a pic of my gang on our early morning walk today. Enjoy the Bank Holiday 🐶🐶😊x
Love these guys on Sky Sports News Transfer Show talking about players, stats, XG etc ….they couldn’t keep a beach ball up in a telephone box but telling us everything ! Great white trainers and fashion glasses 🙈
The legend that is Martin Dobson is 70 today, would never had the career I had if Dobbo had not believed in me, have a marvellous day
@buryfcofficial
@BurnleyOfficial
If VAR checks for violent conduct because a player is rolling around on the floor but decides there is none then the referee should book the rolling around player for trying to get an opponent sent off !
Seriously they are ruining the game, Hecky was right, they don’t understand ! Dermot Gallagher actually said today it was great to see a referee make an on field decision 🤷🏼♂️ I actually thought that’s what they were supposed to do !!
Can only happen is this country, the Aussies abuse us mercifully, then they are caught cheating and people over here call it a witch hunt and feel sorry for them, the crocodile tears were only on show because they got caught in the ‘Gentlemen’s’ game !
Chris Whitty is showing slides that show everything is decreasing, what is going on, the are having us over again ! Stumbling with his words as he knows he’s lying to us !
Absolutely marvellous news legs are still working after yesterday’s
@buryfcofficial
v Burnley legends game at Gigg Lane, dogs already walked at 6-30am 🐶🐶🐶⚽️
Never ever thought it would happen, feel so very sad with the news that's just broken
@buryfcofficial
some people must be held accountable for this tragedy of letting the club get to this, and for good people to lose their jobs !
Best wishes to former Blade Jamie Hoyland who celebrates his 52nd birthday today. Son of another Blades player Tommy he played 107 times between 1990-1994

What I really love about this England team is that they are a throwback, they play for each other, work hard for each other, no individual or ego rules and they actually love playing football, as a certain manager said last year ‘old school is the new school’ !
Just put
@GranadaReports
on and the presenters opening line is “we are a county divided with the lifting of the restrictions “ Are we really ? Keep your masks on if you want, stay at home if you want, that’s your choice, I certainly won’t be !
Happy New Year to everybody x It’s not about the last 10 years it’s about tomorrow and enjoying every single day as you don’t know what’s round the corner, lots of love ‘Me’ xx
Best feeling in the world when you ring Connie & Tommy Hoyland and wish them Happy New Year and they still up partying.... they are both 87 love them so much xxx
Never ever record a TV programme but did tonight and just watched it after getting in from a match...absolute lovely tribute to Dianne Oxberry
@BBCNWT
and tears were shed...God love you Dianne x
If you’ve not watched ‘Finding Jack Charlton’ please do, it’s heartwarming, brings you to tears but shows what football does for people and in this case a nation….Jack Charlton what a man !
I know I am a bit of dinosaur regarding football, a coach at Sheff Utd told me that when I went back there coaching, but sometimes you have to put your foot through it and get it forward ! Basics
What a night
@buryfcofficial
for me playing against Bryan Robson, the best midfielder at the time. Great memories playing for a fantastic club who hopefully will be back ⚽️
Glad to see Ron Reid getting the credit he deserves regarding the development of the young players
@SUFC_tweets
who are with England ! Quite a few jumping on the bandwagon
Waking up to the really sad news that Bob Jackson has passed away, from refereeing my games at Jordanthorpe school, to listening to that fantastic voice on ‘Praise and Grumble’ and also been a family friend of mum & dad, the world has lost a true gentleman and great journalist
