It has now been almost six years since this map came out, so now giving this a final chance:
10,000 likes and there *will* be Perish remaster in Black Ops 3. If this does not hit the goal, I will be canning the idea completely, so now it's time to show that this is what you want
Of course it has to be my last solo project in BO3, lmao. While still a remake in core, I learned most from this project that I can apply for the future. Truly my magnum opus when it comes to zombies

Never noticed this detail in Moon until someone pointed it out that in low-gravity zones the effects would be in low-gravity. Went to test this further and turning power on changes the effects around those zones. Love small details like this, too bad they are easily missable
Going through old screenshots and came across this shot from almost exactly 3.5 years ago, so decided to mostly recreate it. On/off working on something this long has its pros/cons

We can finally create custom HUDs in Black Ops 3, so here is what I started on today: Killing Floor 2 HUD. Heavy WIP π€ Will be probably featured in BO3 version of Rainy Death π
Now I am more confident with showing more of the new lighting. Spent past two days fixing up lights, worldspawn and LUT with

helping with most of it. All of this started with one gun appearing too dark, lmao
Still need to do a lot of tweaking and finish up reflection probes when it comes to lighting, but it's coming along pretty nicely for something I started yesterday π£
I do like the lighting on Rec709 display gamma even though most of the time I use sRGB for visibility, so yeah, have some screenshots since I rarely post on this setting, including retextured Credit Terminals and PHD Flopper since I retextured them to ensure better tex quality
Thanks to all the comments and videos, after long consideration I have decided to make a big update for Rainy Death which will shake up the things a bit. May or may not post every now and then about it when I have some progress
The one thing I am most happy with in the map is the flamethrower bar

and I cooked together. Rather than making a WaW replica, we made it connect to the existing DPAD image to create more unique look to it
Internal testing feedback has been overwhelmingly positive so far which makes me really happy, cannot wait for when release happens and everyone else gets to experience the new content that I have been cooking π«π€
Been a bit inactive lately as I've been busy with University. The work has paid off today as I finally graduated with a title of ICT-Engineer π And also in two weeks I will be starting a new job as an IT-Designer π§
The info is out now, Rainy Death (Black Ops 3 edition) is dropping this upcoming Friday (3rd of Dec)!
Revisit the town with all new weapons, gadgets and enemies, as a fully written cast of new characters.
Character icon finally updates, when zombie count is 0, wave background turns black (trying to get it to go just grayscale) and perk icons are in, today was a good day π€
Been working hard few weeks to get the map in testing phase and now a lot of stuff is getting started/finished: Recoding HUD currently to work even smoother than before, VA's are doing quotes and new box is getting done! Have a screenshot since I haven't posted one in sometime π€

Amazing how much maps can change during development time. This was one of the main reasons why Perish took so long to release. A lot of time during last two years was spent on fixing lighting/reflection issues on LinkerMod's end while I tested a lot of compiler versions for fixes
It's been hectic first ten hours of release and I just want to say thank you everyone so much for the positive reception so far and hopefully we can keep going! Now I really need sleep as it is 6AM, thank you also for first spot in Most Popular list β₯οΈ
Last gun tweet for awhile as all planned regular weapons are now in the map! Commando was my first ever weapon port back in the day so wanted to commemorate that in this remaster. Model done by

2.5 years ago I had only ported one weapon (Commando from BO1)
1.5 years ago I started learning how to rerig and modify CoD anims.
Now I animate rather than using existing anims.
Learn new things as soon as possible, it will help you in the long run. Don't wait til it's needed.
Next up: Adding checkmark when buildable is completed and proper notification (gif taken from scoreboard view) π€ Got help with circle from Lua unit
