The lakers were competing with the Suns with an injured roster and had them on the ropes until AD went down. Suns are a legit title contender. That’s how good the lakers were even without rhythm, health or cohesion. Give them a healthy season and I still think this roster wins.

Anthony Davis has to be a top 7 player next year and our driving engine in the regular season for the lakers to be serious contenders. That doesn’t mean he has to average 30. But he has to give us 25-10-3 plus elite defense for 70 games. Everything starts there.
