//As a bigger person myself seeing this persons art get mocked and then essentially getting bullied off the internet, I want to go over why Pastel Spider DOES work and whyโs sheโs actually awesome.

2.) There are literally plus sized Spider-People in the god damn movie. Not only that, but Kris Anka (Across the Spiderverse artist) said that plus sized Spider-People are valid and Dan Slott (Spider-Man comic writer) backing up his statement. Who are you defending now?
1.) Did any of you โSpider-Man fansโ watch the same movie that the rest of us did? The entire point of BOTH movies was ANYONE could be Spider-Man! Stan Lee on multiple occasions said ANYONE can envision themselves as Spider-Man. ANYONE can wear the mask.
The color scheme is really appealing, it cast a unique silhouette which is very good character design, and it even has seasonal variants! And theyโre all really cool looking? If this was a thin Spidersona I guarantee you would have ate it up.
To add to this, if a CAR and a TREX arenโt too big to be web slingers, why is any plus sized spidersona? If THESE WEIGHTS are plausible, then why arenโt weighting that arenโt even a FRACTION of these?
Letโs get the most obvious thing out of the way first. Why do even care anyway? Dose it really ruin your love of the character so much to see a plus sized version of not even the same character, but just someone in the role of them makes you seethe with hate and vitriol?
3.) If you ACTUALLY LOOK at the design itโs actually really cool. Not only does it line up with a lot of the different Spider-People we saw in Across the Spiderverse, but itโs also very unique and has some really cool elements.
This is the conclusion of the thread, but I wanted to get very personal with you all for a moment.
I am fat. Plus sized, overweight, obese, call is whatever you want. But at the same time I am also HEALTHY! I am a trained dancer and can move just fine for someone my size!
If you read this far, thank you. It truly does mean a lot to me you took the time to do so. If you can, spread this around. It would mean a lot to me and many others who are afraid to say anything.
Thank you.
Here, have a Spider-Man meme I made for your troubles.
I have found nothing but solace in the character of Spider-Man. Itโs only human nature to project ourselves onto things we love. I made a Spidersona myself. Also plusized. And to see people be so publicly scrutinized with almost no pushback is disheartening.
Is it really as simple as not lining up with preconceived notions of the character? It doesnโt even apply here. Itโs NOT the same character. Itโs the same mantle yes, but not character. If anyone can wear the mask, why is it that we harass people to take it off?

//This is actually how they met. They were both cosplaying Deadpool at a comic convention and their relationship grew from there. Hopes this helps! (I made all this shit up)
Teens don't create good shit bc Art is a skill and skills require YEARS to hone enough to create something mildly good. That's why you can clock a fic written by a 17yo because they all write like SHIT so give up now or become good at the expense of your youth you unskilled cows

Something a lot of men don't like to admit:
All of your hobbies and ambitions are to attract women.
Nature doesn't care how much personal fulfillment you get from them. Those things are cool, but they're a coincidental positive externality to the prime objective:
To keep the
