Solskjaer came into #mufc and cleared the air of the tension post-Mourinho. Staff and players needed spirits lifting and Solskjaer did that because he cares about the club. No ego. But he’s not a top-level coach or manager. Players needed organising better. Exit inevitable.

You can’t replay the game. Every manager would then call for replays. That way madness lies. Jurgen Klopp has done so much for English football: the drama, joy and success of his football, bond with his players and fans, nurturing talent. But calling for a replay is ridiculous.

For the sake of the residual competitive balance of the Premier League, the 20 clubs need to throw out the five subs rule today. It weakens those clubs with less depth to squads and disrupts game's flow. (Original reason was right, protecting players immediately post-lockdown).
