I went back to my car and grabbed my med kit and then I sat him down on the grass and I changed every single bandage. I cut away what I could & soaked the rest of the bandages in saline. I sat there for over 45min carefully peeling every single piece of gauze off his legs. #YYC

Update: We’re $350 away from being able to give them a food hamper that will contain an entire month’s worth of groceries! We’re still a bit away from filling the sons birthday with list. The son gave us a list of things he wanted for his birthday but we hope to go beyond!

This person had very few things in their cart. My stepson knows what I do here at @HarvestHillsYYC & he asked if we could help them. I said yes we could but that this person would feel ganged up on if we all walked over to them, so I told him to stay here and that I’d walk over.
