The Hornet community would like to thank everyone for their support during this time of tragedy. It is absolutely unbelievable how many calls, emails, and visits we have had from school personnel from around the state.

This is so touching. So proud to be a part of the athletic world. Where moments like this make us all a part of one big family just supporting each other. No matter what size of school or region we are in. Forever grateful for the support to our school and families.
A moment of silence and prayers for Hickory students Alexis Myers and Danielle Nelson, prior to tonight's General McLane/Villa Maria game. Thoughts and prayers continue for

So, uhhh... where should we put this?? 🤔 5 District titles, plus 10 region titles (haven’t gotten the trophies for softball and baseball), plus a state runner-up trophy. We’re out of room! 🤯 What a year!
Congrats Natalie Bell for reaching 100 career goals at the last game!⚽️⚽️⚽️. She received a signed ball by her coaches and teammates! She joins Allison Richards. Sara Suler. And her sis Lauren Bell as the 4th girl in school history to reach this milestone!

Congratulations to our former AD Barb Dzuricsko on being elected to the Pennsylvania High School Track and Field Hall of Fame as a coach, administrator and official! The induction will take place on May 28th at the PIAA Track & Field Championships at Shippensburg University.
We are very sad to learn of the passing of former Hickory golf coach, Bill Gibb. Here is a picture of him and his son David Gibb, our current head coach, during David’s senior year. Bill taught at Hickory for 38 years and coached from 2001-2008. ❤️⛳️🖤
If you see neon laces on shoes of our winter athletes...coaches thought this would be a great way to remember our students who we lost & who are healing. When we lace up to play, our thoughts of them gives all of us another reason to dig deeper

AD Madeline Hoffman here, with my pup Alley-Oop! In this difficult and scary time, try to remember that tough situations build strong people in the end, and we will get through it together. I miss you all so much, but I know we’ll be together soon. 🖤🐝❤️ Go Hornets!!
After a tough ending to spring track/field in 2018 and to his senior football season this fall, It was great to see senior Simeon McKinley run the 100m dash today at his final home track meet. And he was our third fastest Hickory sprinter behind Henwood and Stoots! 👍🐝
It is with great sadness I post this, but at the same time, with much hope. Hope that there can be change with how we treat each other; because we don't know when the last time that will be. We all bleed red, and we are all

One particular time of beauty that arose out of this difficult week was a student developed and led prayer assembly for our girls. Many HHS students as well as those from neighboring districts attended. My broken ❤️ swells out of pride for my beautiful students.
