Driver Ryan Sanderson is being transported to the Alfred Hospital by air ambulance where he will be assessed further after a race fall today at Charlton. It is suspected Ryan may have a broken pelvis, but this is not confirmed. HRV will provide updates in coming days.

Update: Driver Austin Mifsud has sustained fractured ribs and is currently receiving treatment in the Bendigo Base Hospital as a result of his race fall at Charlton yesterday. The horse involved, Wonderforce, is showing no sign of injury today, having pulled up well.
