One of the longest-serving volunteers with HM Coastguard has retired after an incredible 41 years.
Colin Moir joined Stonehaven Coastguard in 1983, going on to lead the group for 26 years when he became Station Officer in 1994.

Vessel Traffic Service Operators (VTSOs) are responsible for ensuring vessels follow maritime regulations and safely continue their passage.
