Yesterday HBHS lost a true legend. Rocky Ciarelli was a Student-Athlete, a Social Studies teacher, a Coach, a Mentor, and a true Oiler. When you think of HBHS, you think of the Ciarelli family. His passion for Volleyball was 2nd to none. He will be truly missed.

Congrats to our amazing Athletic Trainer, Courtney Eargle, on her honor as the Athletic Trainer of the Year for the Orange County Athletic Directors Association!! HBHS is lucky to have you and this is well deserved!
He truly was the ultimate HB Oiler fan! No matter what sport was playing you would see Dutch at the game cheering on the Oilers! He will be greatly missed and will be forever remembered as an Oiler through and through! RIP Dutch!
RIP Dutch! HB Oilers Softball real first "fan" from the early (and unsuccessful) years at Worthy Park to the recent program success on campus. Always around to rout on the girls, say something positive and give a laugh towards a coach. He will be missed around the field!
I am extremely humbled to have received the OC Athletic Director of the Year award tonight at the CSADA AD conference. I love what I do and I love HBHS!!!
Congratulations to Jake Vogel and Xolani Hodel on becoming the 2020 Huntington Beach HS Athletes of the Year! A tremendous honor and well deserved!

I want to wish this Gentle Giant all the best as he leaves HBHS to go pursue the next step of his football and academic career at USC! This kid worked his tail off to graduate early and he will always be an Oiler 4 Life!
It’s National Athletic Training Month! HBHS is extremely fortunate to have an amazing Athletic Trainer Courtney Eargle MS, ATC!! Our student-athletes & programs success are very much guided by her dedication and passion for her profession! Thanks Courtney for everything you do!
