Taught my 2 1/2 and 1 1/2 year old boys to drink from the garden hose today. From all of the college baseball coaches the past year saying they need kids who “drink from the garden hose,” I think this qualifies my guys as recruitable.

Roughly 9 years ago the first GRB youth teams contained players with the last names of Rott, Bunnell, and Wollersheim. In a few days those names will be stiched onto the back of professional baseball jerseys of their respective teams. Pretty awesome.

What it’s like with 3 boys under 3: Decide to show the boys wheel of fortune, since G and M know letters. Letter M is of course called right away and Mays screams in excitement. No G is called, Gehrig loses it, Mays laughs at him, Gehrig punches him in the face, and we’re off!

I’m a fan of HS baseball but WI has screwed it’s baseball players more this year than ever WIAA places football in front of spring baseball. The result: 1- several players miss week 1 of recruiting events 2- WIAA and WBCA place sectionals on a dead period day. No recruiting

Parents - unless there is an actual scout involved in setting your team up, you are not on a scout team. Teams calling themselves this are lying to you. There is no such thing as a 10U, 12U, 16U, 17U scout team. Maybe 18U in the fall for Jupiter. That's it.
