The House just passed our Transportation Budget 93-2!! Huge win to Fix our Ferries and a huge boost to build Kitsap infrastructure 💪 ⛴️ $1.3 billion this budget cycle for vessel construction and maintenance + staff recruiting and training ($80 million more allocated today!)

Just arrived! Finisher’s buckle for the 1,000K Virtual Race Across Tennessee 🤩 Race began May 1st and I averaged 15 miles per day. I signed up because I needed a goal I could incrementally achieve by channeling my nervous energy. It worked! 🐒 #KeepShowingUp #RunHappy

Adventure time 🌲 Dad and I are running the aptly-named “Last Fool Standing” in Port Gamble — a 3.5 mile loop each hour until only one runner is still standing 😅 Not our best idea, but Mom has agreed to crew so we’re all feeling foolish… We start at 8am, wish us luck!

It wasn’t pretty, but I ran 133 miles and finished 2nd in the Tartarus Last Runner Standing Ultra! 🥳🥳 I’m super amped because that’s the farthest I’ve ever run and I set a new 100-mile PR (23h46m, over an hour quicker than my previous)! Huge 🙏 @leeknowlton for mega support!

Day 17 ✅ 91F heat + humidity stalked us but Road Crew kept me dialed on hydration, electrolytes and ice packs. Kept heart below 135bpm to prevent overexerting and held it steady for 53 miles thru Indiana farm country. Big stress test for us and we crushed it together! 🔥💪
