This is from his first game with Barça. He signed and had to wait six months without playing because he couldn't be registered due to a ban from FIFA (life is funny, lol). He made his debut with the number 6. And scored a hat-trick. Come back better than ever, Gavi ❤️
Gavi was overrated ten days ago, now he is our best player. Eric Garcia was terrible, now everyone is silent about him. Ansu was prime Messi last week, now we wonder what's going on with him. What a toxic way to treat our own players without any reason at all. Support this team..
What is Barça?
Barça is Fermin lifting up injured Gavi, the best friend he made in La Masia, to celebrate with him a CL QF in which he scored a crucial goal while two other 16/17-year-old friends and life long La Masia teammates got us qualified with their unreal performances.
One thing I've noticed, it's always Gavi the player that Xavi calls to give the directions. I think that this says it all. 19 years old. Culers haven't realised what we have... We don't even imagine.
I like Jules. Not cause he is cutting his vacations short to join the team, after all they deserve/need this break, but he seems to be the type of player I love my club to have. Not only he accepted the RB role, since it was what the team needed, but he is on course to master it.
(🌕) Jules Kounde will be available for the US tour! Hansi Flick insisted that the ideal thing was for him to get rest & join the team after the tour is done, but the defender was really keen to participate in the pre-season. He’ll join the team on 1st.

Bayern are too hurt for Lewandowski and it's not because they might lose 50G/season that they were going to lose in a few months for free anyway. It's because their best player desperately wanting to leave the club for "ruined" Barça exposes what deep down they've always known.
Pedri has the ball. He looks around, no one is moving. He keeps the ball, trying to move a bit, everyone is still. The same thing, two years. These players are not trained.
Gavi is my favourite La Masia player ever, one I've watched and followed since he joined the club, waiting and hoping for him to reach the first team. When he did it was the biggest joy in a very, very long time. He made me fall in love with Barça all over again the past 2 years.
Pedri being that nervous to meet Iniesta for the first time in person is so pure. I miss Iniesta everyday, there can never be another player like him...
People still don't know the kind of player Gavi is, as Luis Enrique said this summer. His talent, his tecnique... He is much more special than we think and once he starts feeling more comfortable at the top level we'll definitely get to see that.
Individual mistakes and form aside, this is 100% on Xavi. He decided to throw away an extremely important european game for the club. Impossible to defend his choices. Just totally unacceptable. A draw, yeah, but it feels like a loss.
Instead of asking for signings every time he talks Xavi should focus on getting the best out of the talented squad he has and the incredible La Masia generation that has fallen into his hands. Those ridiculous statements and treatment towards someone like Ansu are unacceptable.
The desrespect towards Gavi, one of La Masia's biggest talents in ages, is insane. I get it when it comes from other fanbases but seeing many of our fans jump into it is depressing. 18y/o, fixed starter for club and country, performing always everywhere, even out of position.
Our dressing room right now looks like some kind of utopia. Everyone is friends with everyone, everyone supports everyone, young players, veterans, newcomers, La Masia kids from lower categories... it's honestly so great to see, almost too good to be true. It's vital.
Barça can't let De la Fuente's criminal irresponsibility pass like that. I'm being totally serious. The club has to call it out and do something immediately. The guy is dangerous, it's not a joke.
Romero is many things, but here he says the reality everyone around the club dies to ignore. Laporta is digging Barça's definitive grave by letting the club be run by his completely unqualified friends with nothing but personal interests for which they use and destroy the club.
Those who paid €400M for Andre Gomes, Aleix Vidal, Arda Turan, Paulinho, Malcom, Lenglet, Pjanic, Semedo, Arthur, Trincao, Dest, Junior Firpo and their puppets can not say a word about Raphinha's price. The rest are free to talk.
Chelsea have a 400M net spent in six months, no problem at all, while Sevilla sold off some of their most important players out of necessity because of La Liga's FFP and they can still sign no one to save their season. But it's what spanish clubs get for supporting Tebas.
A club like Barça has to have a salary limit of... €270M, according to La Liga and €400M (the actual wage bill) is 'too much'. If they are not actively trying to damage the clubs and the competition, I don't know what they are doing.
Tebas, the league president, is worried about Valencia fans insulting one of the worst club owners in La Liga history and not about the fact that this guy has destroyed one of the most important clubs in spanish football... Oh god. There is truly no hope.
Javier Tebas has defended Valencia's owner Peter Lim and President Layhoon Chan😯

"We worry about the insults to the players, but I am also worried about the insults to the president, inside and outside the president's box."
You can fully support Laporta, believe in him and still criticise some of his decisions or be against his views on certain parts of football business. We are not fans of a president, we are Barça fans.
Valverde might not have been the best coach for Barça but he has always been a great person, someone who represented the values of this club. Only an extremely toxic part of this fanbase would want the Camp Nou to boo him and thankfully that's not gonna happen. This is not Barça.
The club better have some kind of farewell scheduled for Dani Alves tomorrow. The way he left twice without Barça saying a proper goodbye is unacceptable.
It's not just Xavi. His assistants are his brother Oscar who has zero qualifications and Alegre who's responsible for things like set pieces at which we've been really bad for two years. Our physical preparation is also poor. I mean... Whatever.
RM replace their most important players while they are still in good conditions with the best there is on the market while we want to sign a 32-year-old LB who won't put in danger 33-year-old Alba's starting spot. It's not just a money issue, but also the idea behind all this.
🚨 Selon nos informations, Aurélien Tchouaméni va s'engager en faveur du Real Madrid pour 5 ans. Le transfert avoisinerait les 80 millions d'euros plus bonus.
He is 18, that shouldn't happen. He hasn't caught a break, there is not one single game he hasn't started this season, apart from when he was suspended and that Clasico back in October... The club needs to take care of him and manage his playing time much better than this.
In 2017 Barça's data team suggested we sign Mbappe and Haaland (!). We spent 250M on Coutinho and Dembele instead. We have one of the best analytics department, one of modern football's most valueble assets, and we ignore it. I don't understand anything.
Busquets instagram full of "cules" insulting him. One of the club's legends. What this fan base has become. Toxic and embarrassing. Once we were criticising RM pathetic fans for attacking Casillas and now this. Sad. And you call yourself Barça fans. You would even turn on Messi..
Cubarsi, Pedri, Lewa, Kounde, Araujo etc Raphinha of course but tonight more than anyone hats off to Xavi. Got his gameplan right and then his subs as well. Huge.
So many cules take La Liga for granted. We haven't realised what this competition means for the club. Barça have gone through a lot until an alien called Messi and one of the most talented generations of players the world has ever seen get us 8 league titles in 11 years.
Xavi seems to be doing a terrific job with La Masia kids, that's the truth. Not only because of the ones he has given an opportunity to, but also for the ones he has "rejected". It looks like he has an eye for talent in this case and the nerves to risk with them. Good to see.
For all the criticism Barça received for selling some of the club's *own* assets to get money, the english media and fans seem to have no problem with the Qatari state buying United and flooding all their money (wherever they are coming from) into the club. Weird.
Zizou has won 3 CLs with RM and it hasn't been a year since he came back but the pressure it's already huge because of the bad results and performances. Valverde has been doing this for two seasons, with two consecutive CL humiliations but NO catalan media even questioning him.
A club is its people. Guardiola as a Barça player shaking the hand of young Iniesta, who later along with Xavi threw him in the air to say goodbye and then they were thrown in the air by Pique who now shakes Xavi's hand on the sideline as he is given his own farewell... Barça.
75M/year for the men's shirt, the shirt of the best female team in the world, the training kit and "Spotify" in front of Camp Nou is not much. It's actually barely enough.
Not only this criminal started Gavi in a totally meaningless game and did it after making him play 90' three days ago in another meaningless game, but he got injured and the..doctors told him he could immediately go back to the pitch. He got seriously (?) injured the next minute!
People still don't realise what Rosell and Bartomeu did to Barça. They took the best team in the world and made sure to destroy every single great thing about it while leaving the club on the verge of financial collapse and with a squad unable to compete for anything.
Today that Lamine is signing his first professional contract, Gavi is being the mvp of the team and Fermin is breaking through is a good day to talk about La Masia not as an abstract idea but as what it really is: its people. La Masia are the people that work in the academy.
What De La Fuente is doing with Gavi is criminal. NT coaches can't be so incredibly irresponsible. He is the *only* player that has started both those absolutely meaningless games and played 90' minutes the other day. The only one. I just don't know what else to say.

[Morning Express]
Lots of talk about Xavi finding a way to 'protect' Busi, but what he has actually done is that he finally found a way to take the best out of Frenkie, four years after he joined. All that while he gives freedom to Pedri and doesn't waste Gavi's talent in defensive cover ups.
'Cules' attack Busquets while licking Neymar's ass. Tells you everything you need to know about the current state of the club. "Mes que un club" long gone.
First thing Barça should do tomorrow morning is withdraw the proposal to Dembele. It's not about money. It's about toxicity and the message you send, more than anything to the dreasing room. Imagine if after all this ridiculous show Barça end up giving him more than we pay Pedri.
How we've went from practically having no defense to Kounde, Araujo, Christensen, Balde no one knows. All that for €50M, in the middle of a financial crisis. They are all very young as well. Tears in my eyes.
We don't want Alves back for the player he is nowadays. We want him back for what he means for this club, what he represents, for the love he has for Barça and the love culers have for him. In times like this I think we need figures like Alves. He also deserves a proper goodbye.
You can't be Barça and announce Lewandowski with a shaky video where all you can hear is the wind, you can clearly see the finger of the camera man and he messes up his english a little bit. This is the social media era, what is this.
Alaba being racially abused.. for a vote in some football awards. By the same fanbase that has spent the whole season talking about one of their players suffering racist attacks. This time we won't hear a lot about it. Racism is only a problem when it fits some people's agenda.
If you don't respect Busquets, feel free to unfollow me. I don't want to interact with people who participate in a social media attack against one of Barça's greatest legends ever. But if you're lucky enough maybe Bartomeu finds you and offers you money for the next time.
Umtiti and Pique probably injured, Lenglet suspended. CBs left: 0. Criticism against the board by the catalan media for blowing up the season in January in a way not even third division teams do? Also 0. We get what we deserve. Barça suffer from cancer growing within the club.
Pedri is our best player and if you have to build the system around one guy, that's him. He will always find a way to shine, to do something but the way Xavi is using him in roles that don't fit him and almost makes him disappear is truly remarkable and it takes a lot of effort.
I have no idea what is Deco doing or what he's going to do but for the first time in ages we are linked to almost all the right names and he seems to be behind this. I just hope the rumours are true, no matter whether we end up signing these players or not for financial reasons.
The idea that our 'style of play' is the problem is as naive and ridiculous as british pundits saying that "Pep won't suceed in the PL, here you have to be more physical". All that while we haven't even been playing our style for the past 5-6 years.
They won't let Barça win this league. It's just as simple and it was clear since the end of last season. They will make as many decisions against the club as it takes and they will favour RM in every way possible with the media covering it all up, they won't allow it to happen.
La Masia is not just the best academy in the world, cause not even the best academy is supposed to produce all *that*. Not even to dream of doing so. La Masia is Barça's heart and oxygen. Demand that those in charge protect it as if it was the most precious thing in the world.
Barça's biggest enemies as of 2019:
1. The socis
2. Bartomeu and co.
3. Valverde
4. Players who either care for their ass and nothing else or don't have the mentality/level required by a Barça starter
For an academy to produce this amount of 1st div players is already insane, but for an actual elite club to do it for its own first team at the highest level possible.. I don't think we actually realise what this is, to do it just imagine looking at it as a fan of another club 🤯
I didn't even realise last night. I just love how united the squad is, even the players that are practically each other's competition. It's something so rare and almost impossible to see in any top club nowadays. Absolutely vital for this team.
Pep is often the victim of his own deep understanding of the game and ingenuousness. He's the perfect example of how knowing too much and being too good sometimes becomes a trap that doesn't let you see or aknowledge simple things, quite obvious to an external observer.
No club has a more toxic media environment than Barça. It's not even close. A couple more days without a game and Pedri might have to be sold while we will be reading rumors about Raphinha hating Dembele. And all that while we are at the of the league with +8.
Gavi goes back to his natural position, immediately starts performing incredibly well (shocking indeed) and instead of enjoying it I have culers and big Barça media on my TL talking about what will happen to our best player now and how is he gonna earn a spot in the XI.. Unreal.
At some point we also need to talk about Raphinha. He was so crucial and vital for the team last season, somehow most ppl seem to forget that. He is a really, really good player. He might not be fancy, but the disrespect he gets by many fans compared to what he offers is surreal.
I really like Zubimendi, I've wanted Barça to sign him since the end of last season, but I appreciate players that choose to stay at their boyhood clubs even when big teams are calling. It's the exact opposite of what we are used to see nowadays, so rare and refreshing.
So jealous of Real Sociedad. They are just so, so good. On top of a CL group with Benfica and Inter. What a coach and what a team. They deserve much more recognition than they get.
Qatari officials might be the first ones who want Messi to lift the trophy this year so that it's remembered as the World Cup Messi won and not the World Cup of shame, in a similar way that the 1978 one has gone down in history.
The Camp Nou is almost fully packed after being eliminated and culers are loud supporting the team even though we are losing. This is actually... beautiful. This club deserves so much and, more than anything, people who know it.
Argentines attacked Messi for years, his kids were asking why they hate him so much in his country and his whole family suffered, as Leo has stated in many times, even a few days ago, and we have to listen to his entourage disrespect the only ones who always supported him lol.
A 16-year-old playing twice a week in the CL and in LaLiga has a muscle discomfort and the club allows him to travel with the NT? This is exactly what we shouldn't permit under any circumstances. Like, the first thing Barça must not do. Disastrous management.. How is it allowed??
🚨 JUST IN: In the end, it has been decided that Lamine Yamal WILL go with Spain during international break. His discomfort is nothing serious, they say from the RFEF.

This is what happens when you have no sporting plan and just go for big names signings rather than the ones you actually need, thinking this can solve any problem. No, it only creates more. Especially when you have a coach who doesn't seem to help players develop.
For years Barça would spent hundreds of millions on all kinds of players, like any big club does nowadays, and it felt more soulless and unable to connect with than ever, no matter how good or bad they were. Having Gavi or Fermin feels like having our club back. Priceless.

Lewandowski signing was a golden chance for a big online campaign that would make an impact and would help the club's image when Barça need it the most. Instead they've made it almost worse with an amateur video. This is actually important and worrying, changes are needed asap.
Most people don't understand what this guy does every week, they have to see Barça without him to even start realising it. Beyond words, they will appreciate him when it's too late. Sad not to be able to enjoy the Greatest Of All Time even though you live at the same time as him.
Gavi was asked yesterday where he feels more comfortable playing now and he said in a double pivot..Not surprising having watched his development this season but so interesting that as he grows up he evolves more and more into a deep-lying playmaker, already starting in La Masia.
Culés that mock Cruyff and Pep are not culés. 'Cause I don't get how you can say you love a club while making fun of everything this club is and represents. There is no Barça the way we know it without them. No Messi, no Xavi or Iniesta, no trebles, no worldwide success. Nothing.
Right now the club should be exploring the market for a proper coach for next season. It hurts to say it and I hope somehow Xavi surprises us but anyone who watches the team (without even taking the squad quality into consideration) can see that clearly.
Someome remind Koeman that last season he left the team 9th in the league and Xavi (with two signings, Auba and Ferran Torres) brought us back to 2nd - the position he got the previous season while having the greatest player of all time and someome like Griezmann in his squad.
A bunch of teenagers hugging Guiu the moment the ref blows the whistle. He just scored a few seconds after he made his debut, giving us the 3 points with the first ball he ever touched for the first team. Another La Masia player. Again. And again and again. Our treasure, unreal.
New La Masia director: Andrey Xepkin. An ex handball player who according to the people inside the club has or should have nothing to do with this role, but he was chosen because.. he's Enric Masip's friend. Even if you want to believe that there's hope for the club, you can't.
Catalan press spent the whole summer talking about Neymar, but not once they seem to worry about the state of the team and the fact that Valverde is still at the club. Cancer.
There are many chances Xavi would have left Barça early on if it wasn't for her. The people behind the players are so much more important than we realise.
Barça need Xavi to succeed, because right now any other possibility looks extremely complicated, problematic and damaging for the club. But he must surround himself by proper professionals and if he is not willing to do that then the club should step in.
Luis Enrique's idea to stream during the World Cup is quite brave. It could go wrong, sure, but it could also be groundbreaking in football. We need coaches and players to start behaving like humans, not robots that are distant from everyone and everything.
